Relais Villa Margherita

My wife and I loved Villa Margherita, everything about it. Our room was inviting and very comfortable, our view of the lake was great. The dining room offered delicious food at a reasonable price. The wines from the region were perfect. Breakfast was among the best of our trip. What really was impressive was the friendliness of the staff, just terrific, ready to converse, interesting people. We would stay there again in a flash. If I could give the VM an 11, I would. We've stayed at many Relais et Chateau. This was very similar. We were there for 5 nights over Easter week. It was cold and rainy the whole time, but the stay at VM made it sunny and bright.

Wonderfull hotel. Quiet. Exceptionally clean with top notch service. 5 minute check in! 35 yr anniversary and recvd a spa on our deck! Near great restaurants. Only problem 2 nits only, easy place to stay here for a week! What a shame. Highly recommend

I really wanted to give five dots review. The hotel is lovely. The grounds are amazing. Nice pool. Staffed outside bar open from noon until late. Outside tables have beautiful views of the lake. Plenty of parking. The staff was perfect, friendly and helpful. Dinner in the restaurant was good if not great. Now for the reason I didn’t give five dots. The room. I found it lacked some needed comforts. It was small. It didn’t have a table or desk. We normally will picnic in our room for lunch or dinner and it was nearly impossible without a table and the hotel did not allow outside picnics. There was only one chair for two people. Overhead lights only except for one bedside lamp. Why only one? There were two of us in bed trying to read. Another lamp so we wouldn’t have to use the overly bright track lighting on the ceiling would have been nice. Very few outlets and inconvenient for charging a phone. Had to lay it on the floor. The bed was ok. The room clean, and the bath was nice.

Very nice hotel with an excellent service. Relaxing and chilly. Food excellent. Location with a one million dollar view. Brings you back to a time when Lords and Ladies drank tea in the afternoon, dressed in cocktail suites

Nothing was too much trouble. Demetri’s welcome was the introduction to a group of very caring helpful and efficient staff. Sylvia and Laura looking after everyone’s needs through afternoon and evening. Excellent room, views, wine list and menu. Breakfasts were equally as good

Dès que vous passez le portail, le charme opère. La Villa est une magnifique demeure soignée, entourée d’un magnifique parc, avec piscine. Le parfum du Jasmin blanc et les fleurs des citronniers embaume le jardin. La chambre est calme et confortable, avec une merveilleuse vue sur le lac. Un généreux buffet du petit-déjeuner vous est offert. Nous avons été ravis de prendre les repas du soir au petit restaurant de la Villa . Belle adresse à garder soigneusement

Accueil chaleureux, chambre spacieuse, literie confortable, petit déjeuner délicieux (que de bons produits), dîner très savoureux, le tout rehaussé par un service très bienveillant. Un séjour inoubliable ! Merci beaucoup

Ein Paradies über dem Lago Maggiore im Piedmont! 🇮🇹 Luigi und sein familiäres Team sind wunderbare Gastgeber in einem äusserst gepflegten, romantischen Anwesen, das auch kulinarische Köstlichkeiten bietet! 🤩

Wir waren eine Woche hier. Ein absolut zauberhafter Ort! Die parkähnliche Gartenanlage mit umwerfender Aussicht laden zum entspannen ein. Essen und Cocktails gibt es tagsüber an der Bar, abends hervorragendes Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant. Das Frühstück ist vielfältig und es gibt Produkte von lokalen Herstellern. Der Service ist wirklich herausragend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Auch weil es sehr familiär ist - es gibt etwa 20 Zimmer und selbst wenn es ausgebucht ist, ist die Atmosphäre ruhig und entspannt. Das WLAN ist super, Parkplatz kostet nichts extra und im Zimmer fehlt es an nichts. Ein richtiger Geheimtipp 😊😊
