ヴィクトリアン ハウス(Victorian House)

Stayed two nights in the "Cosy room." Room was abit small but lovely and well presented, although I felt the room it's self wasn't fully cleaned. Their was a few cob webs on the ceilings, quite abit of rubbish under the bed and the shower had abit of mould on the sealant around the shower door. Breakfast was lovely, with lots of variety and polite and friendly waiters.

The room was great, clean and had all you needed to have in it. One thing tgat was missing was a vent in the room whicb made our night very stuffy.

Very tastefully appointed hotel with friendly service. The bathroom, however, was a bit of a beast. I feel sorry for the hotel company which had obviously spent a great deal of money on the appoin**ent of the bathroom. However, the shower was difficult to manage comprising as it did, an overhead douche and a spraying wand. The problem was that the water cut off was half way between the settings for both devices so if the lever was inadvertently pushed too far then you received a jet of cold water from the overhead douche. Also there was no grab handle on the wall of the shower. One could easily be fitted without disturbing the wall tiles. Also there was no rubber mat for insertion into the bath. My TV was in a state of disrepair and despite Mangement assurances that it would be put right, nothing was done about this.

Lovely warm, cosy hotel. Comfortable bed, nice breakfast and friendly staff.

Really good stay! The shepherd’s hut was lovely and cosy. There is no TV in there which wasn’t a problem for us but just something to be aware of. The breakfast was excellent, as were the staff.

Location was great, and our room was nicely furnished with a beautiful view. The bathroom was very well appointed. I didn't like that we had to reserve a specific time for breakfast.

Best place to stay in the area. It is a Stunning property very well managed and maintained. Excellent breakfast, very helpful and polite staff. You can walk to the main market n restaurant. We are surely going to come back 🤗. They also have family rooms/ villas for large families.

Central Grasmere B&B with nice garden backing onto the river and lovely glass breakfast room. Good breakfast.

We booked this place due to the great rating on this site. Wonderful staff. Lovely location. Beautiful room. We booked the stargazer suite and even though the skies did not co-operate the view was still stunning. Breakfast was delicious. There is a Co-op shop 3 doors down and a great restaurant 2 doors down. Would happily stay again!
