Our stay of one night at Hotel le Phoebus Garden and Spa was a disappointment. For one, the reception was not very accomodating. We booked an hour for two at the spa for the evening of our arrival. We were asked to pay in advance. The reception booked us for the next evening, and we arrived in an ice cold spa. We were told that we would be refunded. This was on November 28th. One month later we have still not been refunded the 30 Euros we paid for the spa. This is after three or four telephone calls to the hotel. The breakfast at the hotel was not worth the amount we paid. This hotel may provide decent services during peak season, but we would not recommend to stay there in November.

The mattress was comfortable enough but not when it overhangs the divan base by a huge amount such that you could fall off. The staff refused to acknowledge our complaint, dismissing it as normal to put a large double mattress over smaller twin bases. They even implied we had created the problem by moving the bases together ourselves. Terrible customer service!
Generally the decor was tired and the room too small despite the Privilege category.

Remarkably we never got to stay. We had a room booked and received a note from them to say there was an error with the credit card. We called, we emailed and we tried to go back to them via ******* and received no response. In the communications we told them that we'd either correct the error by paying over the phone or on arrival. We assumed the latter would acceptable as they didn't respond. Then, out of the blue 3 days before travel we had the first communication from them to say they'd cancelled our booking. We made the error initially by hitting USA instead of UK on our credit card payment. But a total lack of support and communication on the part of the hotel turned an error into a lost booking for them and us having to make alternative arrangements. Oh, and trying to phone them was a dead loss - we tried and tried without answer.

5 super cars on tour from Cannes to Nice to Saint Tropez to the hotel and then up to the Alps then back down to Cannes and finished in Monaco. the hotel was was set in the middle of nowhere but had everything and staff were tentative. nice views / good food /rooms were great /clean fresh would recommend this hotel for a relax / calm chilling few days away from it all.

Really good hotel comfortable double bed shower/bathtub plus your own balcony, didn’t use the swimming pool or restaurant so can’t comment. Good price at £60 for early September still warm 22-28 degrees

Hôtel basique si vous êtes de passage à Gruissan et que vous ne souhaitez pas vous ruiner. Standing moyen mais fait l’affaire pour une nuit et les chambres sont propres. Nous avions choisi une chambre vue sur le lac qui aurait pu être plus sympathique si une route ne traversait pas au milieu. L’environnement aux abords du ****** n’ai pas le cadre rêvé si vous prenez une des autres chambres… nous n’avons pas testé le SPA ni le petit déjeuner.
