One of the best setup, was a shame I was down w a cough and could not enjoy fully. Definitely worth coming back here.

It is a stopover during the journey from Queenstown to Greymouth.

Comfortable beds, I had a really good sleep. Great room amenities except that there is no individual fridge in room and the shared fridge in the common area is small. Just few minutes drive away from the city center. There is a restaurant run by the hotel, price is on the higher end but food is just so-so.

Excellent value BUT the beds need replacing - they are too "bouncy". It was lovely to arrive to a very warm room - heaters all on. Otherwise we loved our stay and our meal in the bar.

All in all a nice hotel, you can park directly infront of you room. The walls are a little bit thin, so you can hear the people nextdoor.

Room is practical and clean. We had a great view towards the sunset. Service cold and almost non existent . Don’t eat at the restaurant . Quality of food is poorest we have seen in NZ in a very long time.

Do not recommend dining in the bar. As I was heading to the beach to watch the sunset, I asked for the pie in the case and was told I will have a 45 mins wait along with other diners! There is another restaurant before Heartland where the fish n chips was really good. Had it for lunch.

Place was decent. Room was spacious and bed was clean, reccomended.

The hotel in Hokitika offered a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms were tastefully decorated, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of activities. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, offering helpful recommendations and warm hospitality.
