Despite posting email and phone numbers on the website, the Cameo staff was unresponsive regarding issues with our stay. We tried several times to contact the hotel regarding a need to change our reservation. Our attempts at communication were all several days in advance of our originally scheduled arrival. No one picked up, returned calls, or emails. Finally, we called our booking company and told them to cancel, since we couldn’t reach Cameo. The booking company FINALLY was able to reach Cameo 24 hours before our scheduled arrival after trying for 2 days. Cameo’s response was to refuse a refund! When we responded that we would notify our credit card and dispute the charge, suddenly we are inundated with messages. Right. Can’t get in touch with you until after the deadline for refund was past then carry on at length trying to justify shady business practices.
