ホテル ヌムビ アンド ガーデン スイーツ(Hotel Numbi & Garden Suites)

We visited the Sunday carvery with anticipation of a good lunch. The price was good and the menu looked promising with calamari salad starter plated to the table, mains of oxtail stew, roast pork roll, roast beef and chicken pie and verges to accompany. Desert malva pud, trifle, peppiment tart, chocolate brownies and ice cream and chocolate sauce. What’s not to like? Well we arrived at about 12:30 or 12:45 and were offered pensioners discount. Now we were impressed. Tragically after ordering a glass of wine each and a super attentive waiter serving our starter we went to the carvery for mains. Oxtail finished, all pork & beef finished and no roast potatoes, just beans and pumpkin with rice. I asked about the meat and was told beef is coming so we waited. A sirloin roast was delivered but ice cold from the fridge but sorry, no potatoes or pork. We managed on the beef and veg with oxtail gravy Now for the desert display. Annihilated is a good description. Basically management had allowed people to take two and three plates full of desert back to their tables. We complained to the manager on duty who found some jelly and something else, gave us a discount for the desert and apologised. “ people take too much” he said. We paid and left to be stopped by the GM who asked what the issues were and after explaining he said he did not want us “bad mouthing them” outside in the market place. I felt he was nowhere to be seen in the dining room whilst we complained to the waiter and manager. “Too little too late” I am afraid We will not be back and yes I guess I am bad mouthing the establishment Management is exactly that…. Management

Wow we had a wonderful stay at Hotel Numbi. We have our rally there every year and the staff are amazing! Food is so good and there is so much of it you will never go hungry. I highly recommend a stay here. The staff are like family. Thank you hotel Numbi.

We spent a month in the caravan park, it is one of the best located caravan parks in the Lowveld. It is situated near Graskop, Sabie and then of coarse the Kruger National Park. The staff are very friendly, they keep the ablusion facilities clean and also the caravan park gardens. The bird life and the beautiful gardens are also something to behold. There are also 3 swimming pools. We had a couple of meals in the hotel which were very good, of course the Sunday Buffet is excellent! I can really recommend the Hotel Numbi hotel and garden suites as well as the caravan park to any traveller, local or from abroad.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. They did their best to look after us, which we really appreciated. The room was nice and spacious and comfortable. The view was also nice. Unfortunately the food was not so great and they didn't seem to have many options for vegetarians. However, the staff's helpfulness made up for it. They did try to accommodate as they could.

The place was super nice, we stayed with some friends there for 2 nights and we enjoyed it a lot. The host is also super welcoming and helpful, and our stay was quite amazing in general. The views from our apartment were super nice, and we also got to enjoy the pool since it was warm. Would recommend!

I enjoyed this place! The Sunday breakfast was great, with a buffet and good staff. The Monday one was half a buffet, and less choice. The rooms were clean, but they did go in to my room when I left “do not disturb” outside. Safe building, but you need to be in a vehicle to enter and exit.
