Newly Opened Hotel with great staff. Prime location, if you are travelling by train. Breakfast was really good, with a wide choice of sausages and cheeses, spreads and cereal. Beds where very good, with hard mattresses (not everyone likes it, but if you have back issues it is the best to sleep hard)! Lighting at the bedhead a bit weird. Design should be rethought. You need two switches to switch that on. Maintenance needed to come by and show me :D :D We are planning a tour along the Neckar for next year and will definetely stay over again.

We walked to the hotel from the hautbahnhof, not far, about 800m A little far from the old town, maybe 20-30 minutes walk, but we got plenty of exercise. We could have taken a tram if we wished though from close to the hotel. Our Premium room was very good. Very spacious and comfortable. The bar staff were friendly and welcoming (especially Babu who we enjoyed talking to very much) Beer prices for the Heidelberger beer very competitive (unusual for a hotel bar) and a free drink for every day we didn't have housekeeping. The room was a bit warm for us but we would open the window to cool down for a while. Not sure how it would work in summer as the air-conditioning didn't do much. We would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return to Heidelberg.
We were so glad to see this fully renovated hotel open in time for our visit to the Heidelberg Christmas Market (original opening date was projected for the end of December). The Hilton Heidelberg is an incredible facility, surpassed only by the amazing team working to provide the best possible experience! We have never been so graciously welcomed by so many on the team, including the General Manager, Remmie. Margarita and Katerina took great care of us during check in and were even able to upgrade us to a Junior Suite - what a welcome surprise! After settling in to our room, we had the pleasure of meeting Lubeth in the Executive Lounge who took care of every need and made us feel so welcome - always with a smile! The management team is definitely committed to hiring the best, but they are also clearly committed to leading by example. Vladimir (the restaurant manager) made a point of introducing himself and checking to be sure we were enjoying our stay and Sonja was so gracious when we were visiting the restaurant. Brent stopped by while we were in the Executive Lounge to be sure we were enjoying our visit and asked if there was anything he could do to help. Tim (a Heidelberg local) took time to share some of his favorite spots around town, as well as the hotel amenities and make sure we made the most of our time in town! I cannot remember another hotel stay where I could name more than 1-2 people on the staff - this team truly made us feel welcomed and valued! Thank you for a such a great experience!
Very friendly stuff and nice hotel. But as a vegan I was disappointed that there basically weren't any vegan friendly options at breakfast. I would expect more in 2021 from a 4 star hotel. Recommendable otherwise.

ゲゲストOne of or if not the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Amazing staff who let us store our bags as we arrived early and gave us great recommendations of what to do in town, things we otherwise never would have know about. Location is prime, right in the heart of town and under the Schloss. The hostel is in an odd house and has an extremely warm and homely feeling. Has amazing décor in the common room with old photos of travelers, book swaps and maps showing where past travelers have come from. Kitchen is also great, has many amenities and once again has an awesome feel to it. Bathrooms were of a very high standard. Free breakfast was amazing too. Rooms also has lockers. I would kill to be back here. Would 100% go back to Heidelberg and Lottes.
ゲゲストThe very high level of personal service at the Europaeischer Hof Heidelberg could not be any better. It's very consistent and makes any trip to Heidelberg more relaxing and fun. My first choice for any overnight stay in Heidelberg and I can highly recommend it. Looking forward to my next stay there - CVID permitting - hopefully soon.
PPassenger32073665680We stayed in a Junior suite in the ‘Villa’ 2 nights between Xmas and New Year. At check in we were told that the rooftop bar and restaurant were closed as the staff had worked for Xmas and they were going to work for New Year. For the same reason we were told that there was no room cleaning. How ever there was no reduction of the price and no information was provided in advance. We had a lot of luggage and it was rather far between the reception and the Junior suite but no help was offered. When we arrived in our room it felt like a sauna. The heating was on max and the temperature showed 40 degrees in the room. Not very climate friendly. The first morning we ordered breakfast in our room. We specifically ordered lots of coffee with hot milk and received one small cup each with cold milk. The bread was fluffy bake off bread and the cheese slices were ready made plastic slices with no taste. The musli for the yogurt was forgotten. This breakfast tray cost 44 euros for 2 persons. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel the following morning. The Junior Suite is spacious as well as the bathroom but the bed was too hard for our taste.
Modern, clean hotel on the opposite bank of the river from the Heidelberg old town. Line 5 on the tram gets you here from the main train station. The entry to Philosphenweg is just down the road. The windows on the third floor capped the street noise reasonably well but I used a noise app on my phone to sleep. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Shower was large with plenty of pressure. Wifi was spotty. If you can handle public transportation, this is a good spot to explore Heidelberg.
IT IS A REGRET TO BOOK FROM THIS HOTEL. Since I wanted to celebrate my birthday in Heidelberg, a city I really want to visit, I made a reservation at this hotel to stay for 2 nights between 7-9 March. I was going to come to Germany either by plane from outside European countries. On March 7, there was a strike in Germany and the airports were closed. It was notified by the airline company on March 6 that our flight was canceled. We immediately informed the hotel about the situation and asked them to postpone our visit to April 7-9 and transfer the fee to this date, but they stated that the strike was not their problem and took the hotel fee for 2 nights from our credit card. Strike is an essential situation. In legal terms, this is called FORCE MAJEURE – “a common clause in contracts that essentially relieves both parties of liability or liability in the event of an extraordinary event or circumstance beyond the control of the parties, such as a war, strike, riot, crime, or war.” In case of force majeure, standard procedures cannot be applied. The hotel guest is not responsible and cannot be punished. The Mille Stelle City hotel, which turned the strike into an opportunity, charging for a service it did not provide does not comply with business ethics and is a shameful situation. Although accommodation cannot be made due to force majeure, the fee collected from the guest is not a fair gain. It is against consumer rights and even human rights. My flight was canceled due to the strike in Germany, I could not enter the country, the hotel canceled my reservation and charged the fee. Moreover, despite all my communication efforts, they were treated indifferently, saying ”the strike is not my problem”. Our emails were not answered. Not only could I not celebrate my birthday, but I was also unfairly victimized. It was a birthday I will never forget in my life. If you do not want to regret it, never book this hotel, which does not have well-intentioned management. I made my complaints about the hotel through different institutions. And I will continue my complaints and articles about this hotel on every platform until I get my justice.
