Staying at the Marine was a wonderful and enjoyable experience. The staff are super attentive and professional making sure we felt completely at home. They went out of their way to get more soft drinks for our youngest for the room. The place is tastefully furnished and spotless. The children enjoyed the pool and our elder two loved the spanking new gym. The sea facing rooms are beautiful, spacious and have a balcony where one can relax and drink in the spectacular view. The food is delicious and they have a great wine list. This is the second time we have stayed here and love it just a little more. We will certainly be coming back 🪷🪷🪷

What a truly perfect hotel. We stayed for 1 night during our honeymoon to South Africa. The hotel is gorgeous, modern, airy & clean. We were immediately welcomed by very kind staff who helped with our luggage and took us to reception where we were offered homemade tea & a refreshing towel. The staff very generously upgraded us to a premier suite. We were given a short tour of the hotel, with the lounge airy which was beautiful for relaxing/afternoon tea. We were taken to our room and were completely blown away. It was truly beautiful! A gorgeous sea view, lounge area with large windows looking onto the ocean, large walk in wardrobe. The bedroom was on a mezzanine level, with 2 flights of stairs either side to access. We completely fell in love with the room and wished we were staying longer. We ate out with the hotel, but returned to turn down service of love songs on the tv, lovely towel-art on the bed and a bottle of wine. Breakfast the next day was continental buffet & a la carte. There was ample selection and the dining area is delightful, again with a lovely view. There is a gorgeous walk starting from outside the hotel which takes you along the coast which we walked prior to our departure. We couldn’t recommend the hotel more, it was our favourite hotel on our 4 week honeymoon. The staff were very polite, kind and friendly. We would recommend the hotel to anybody and will definitely return on our next trip to Hermanus.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location over looking the ocean yet just a few minutes walk to Hermanus centre. We particularly loved our breakfasts outside each morning looking across the lawns and over looking the ocean. We only had breakfasts during our stay and thought the food choices and quality were excellent. We stayed in a suite room which was large and spacious with a huge comfortable bed! No complaints whatsoever with any aspect of this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and from looking around felt we were staying in the best hotel Hermanus has to offer! It’s pricey but if you want a luxurious hotel in an amazing location, you cannot go wrong with this property!

What a stunning hotel. From the car park to reception to the bar to the cleaning staff etc - we only found happy, helpful and people willing to make your day more amazing. Will highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little more than the norm. Will be back. Great experience

Really enjoyed our one night at The Marine. Lovely big room. Very large and comfortable bed. Generous mini bar plus coffee etc. Dressing table, mirror, nearby plug!! (As any woman will appreciate - this is a rarity!) Very nice breakfast. Delightful staff. Highly recommended.

We visited for 1 night which was the first of our South Africa holiday. we really wished we could have stayed longer tot use all the wonderful facilities. Our room was beautiful, had everything we needed and was very clean. There were lots of lovely little touches that really made it for us. Arrival drink, lovely toiletries, turn service with chocolates, wine etc. The breakfast spread was also beautiful with plenty of choice as well as cooked options to order. The views match this hotel and service. It rained while we were there but that didn't spoil the views. It' also a great location to all the local shops and restaurants.
