Quite improved experience. The location is super for easy access to SMU and I75

We enjoyed this hotel. It was very nice. It was clean. It was cute.

Great location right off the highway and by college campus/Bush library. We enjoyed the room and design as well as the bar/commons area (unfortunately did not bring swim suits for the indoor pool for the cold rainy day, would have been nice). Was a little weird to not have ice available on the floors and finally figured out we had to just grap qt bags out of the freezer in the lobby (no one mentioned that) but for all the fun aesthetics and location there wasnt much we could complain about (as long as you look around and find the best price as online it was coming up wildly different). Overall would definitely stay again and recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE! My car was broken into at 4:30 in the afternoon. The hotel did nothing for me. I asked to be comped and they said no. Not even a free breakfast. The manager didn’t call me back (I had to call 3 times) and they never answer the phone when you call. I stayed at this hotel a month prior and when I was checking in another guest was filing a report that her car was broken into. I didn’t think much about it at the time but recalled it when my car was broken into. This hotel could add security to their parking area but they choose not to. Seriously, stay at the Highland for a little more money and valet. The cost to fix my window was $400.

Property was clean but reeked of bleach everywhere including the room. Parking is "included and available," but the free parking is about 75 yards away on the 5th and 6th floor of a medical building behind the Beeman. That should be noted. The drop off, circular drive, is small and was packed, so check in was difficult without parking first in the "for pay" spots. Thin walls as others noted. Minimal perks in bath...no shower cap, no make-up remover which I'd expect at this price. But water bottles were given, for $5 a pop! Wonderful shower head! Otherwise, very mixed for me.

This hotel is not suited for elderly with handicaps. The barn door on the bathroom was not secure with a guide, but free haning. My 93 yr. old mother was going into the bathroom and pressed on the door. The door derailed landed on her and knocked her down to the floor. She ended up with a fractured rib and a black eye. The front desk was unconcerned.

Recently redone. No closets in rooms, just metal pipes to hang your clothes. Vinyl plank floors. Feels like you are in a warehouse not in a high end area hotel. Lighting in room poor to non-existent. Bed linens are sheets and old blanket. Lobby nicely done but when it had hotel look in lobby, bar, cafe and ROOM previously, it felt like a 4 star hotel. Elevators need some work-clanking. NOT the hotel it used to be. Location is its only saving grace.

I enjoyed my stay here however there seemed to be issues with billing my room. I had to pay with 2 different cards and the card that had the $100 deposit on it, continued to being billed for the entire hotel stay. Now the inconvenience of migrating funds to the card that continues to being billed is a hassle. Otherwise, fine location and kind staff.
