This place is beyond disgusting. Anyone writing anything nice about this place must seriously feel sorry for the owner. Mould all over the place, dirty cups, towels and bed sheets. Other lodgers include a variety of insects and i an only guessing however with the scraping and scuffling around In the evening I’m sure they also have rats or mice in there too. And the gentleman whom owns it feels £50 is a fair price. He also refuses to give refunds. A complaint to environmental health and the ombudsman have been required. Stay far far away

This place is everything everyone else say about it.. Terrible place worst place I ever stayed.. Terrible smell of damp.. No hot water from sink tap.. Dirty carpet, curtains. Could see light from bathroom in the bedroom as wall was partially rottered through..car park entrance not defined as no signage so usually missed it, car park yes definitely is rolled hardcore.. External though house lloks derilict.. Would not return to this place..believe me you will be disappointed like I was, unfortunately was too late to cancel.. Good side.. It's great location to Horley town centre. Short walk and you spend ur evening in the local pub instead of the depressing room.. Like I did.. Think before booking.

Just dire.. absolutely filthy, (shared) bathroom looks like it belongs in a horror movie truck stop and after meeting the owner I half expected to end up in a pie. This place could never be cheap enough to be worth it, didn't want to touch anything or drink the water, thought I'd brave a cuppa only to find yellow teabags and out of date coffee/milk (and not just by days, this was 8 months out of date). Owner is just not capable of the upkeep and was suspicious I'd booked a twin room for just me so I ended up in a single room. If I'd have been female I'd probably have walked away immediately. Really bad vibes and the owner shared some stories of previous guests that made me think I'd have been better just sleeping at the airport if that's the clientele it attracts.

The whole house looks derilict junk laying about the car parking was rolled hardcore, its a filthy place the net curtains are grey with dirt most hanging in shreds, the bath room is disgusting the toilet was filthy brown form top to bottom no toilet roll. The bedroom had a sink unit but no water came out of the taps, curtains hanging off from the rails. Dirty carpets, i could go on and on it needs a complete refurbish from top to bottom.

I booked this place in a hurry as the hotel booking I made elsewhere was cancelled. I wish I had read the reviews. I am stunned that this place hasn't been shut down. It is simply uninhabitable. It is absolutely filthy with sticky residue and dirt on all surfaces. It smells damp. There are uncovered sockets with exposed wires near the sink. The outside area is like a rubbish dump. The last straw for me was the inappropriate behaviour of the creepy man who checked me in who made a pass at me. As a single female traveller I felt felt pretty unsafe. Other liken their experience to a horror film. Needless to say, I didn't stay. Found another hotel near Gatwick. ********** with whom I made the booking were not remotely interested . At this price, I was expecting extremely basic but clean accommodation. I honestly don't think that the rooms here are ever cleaned.
