ホテル シュロス ホルンベルク(Hotel Schloss Hornberg)

Stayed for 2 nights twice within a week, with a Eurocamp inbetween. The location is breathtaking with views all around. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breakfast is continental style but also very good. We had a "deluxe room" at the front first visit and were upgraded to a "Tower" room on the 2nd. Be aware there is no air conditioning but as it is high up it was comfortable even though the weather was very warm. Also be aware there is no lift at the hotel but they do offer help with luggage. Parking can also get a bit tight if you arrive late.

We recommend this place. Beautiful location. Panoramic view from the beautiful room. Friendly staff. Spacious room with good beds and nice bathroom. One of the best hotels I have stayed in in Germany. Breakfast was also nice and good service was provided

We stayed one night for business. What an excellent location, beautiful view, nice comfy rooms and guest focused staff! The dinner was very tasty and offered a good vegetation’s option (even on short notice). The breakfast buffet offered everything you need: cheese, meat, fresh bread, waffle, yoghurt and eggs - wish we would have had more time to take a second round! Would have preferred to stayed a few nights more!

Stayed for 3 nights and had a double and a single room. Both had amazing views over the city and the valley beyond. Room prices were very reasonable and you get a very nice buffet breakfast with eggs, waffles, as well as the usual meats and cheeses. The staff are super friendly and don’t mind speaking English. Great location to make day trips to other destinations in the Black Forest.

This in an amazing gem of a place with very friendly staff and a good restaurant and nice décor. The interior has a 1950's time warp feel with the very comfortable furniture style in the common parts of the hotel. Some of the interior in the hallways could be improved with a painted upgrade - but this is also part of the charm of the place. The hotel itself was excellent value . There should have been a better check for Covid vaccination / negative evidence as non was requested.

Wir haben am Rittermahl teilgenommen, das sehr schön gestaltet war und auch die Gänge der Speisen waren gut gewählt und lecker. Ein Abend der sehr schnell vorbei war und uns in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Wir haben 5 Nächte auf Schloss Hornberg verbracht und waren rundum zufrieden. Die Familie Finke und auch das Personal super freundlich. Wir würden allerdings beim nächsten Mal ein Zimmer mit größerem Bad wählen. DZ Superior deLuxe war supergross und auch urgemütlich, jedoch das Bad sehr klein. Das war jedoch das einzige was wir bemängeln. Ansonsten alles top und der Park und die Lage superschön. Essen sehr gut und am letzten Abend erhielten wir sogar ein 4 Gänge Menü als Entschädigung, da wir an der geführten Wanderung nicht teilnehmen konnten. Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel unbedingt weiter Auch die Getränkepreise waren sehr moderat. Der Biergarten ist urgemütlich mit toller Aussicht auf Hornberg. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder....

Nous avons passé 2 jours géniaux dans cet écrin si charmant. Ce n est pas un hôtel mais une expérience! L endroit est charmant, atypique, hors du temps. Le personnel est aux petits soins et vraiment gentil. Les chambres sont grandes, lumineuses et très propres. Et le repas est divin! Nous avons adoré nos repas raffinés à la présentation digne des grands restaurants. Le petit déjeuner est top! Nous reviendrons assurément. Bravo aux propriétaires pour leur passion, leur engagement !

Attratti dalla location e sicuramente dal castello nel quale l'Hotel è sito abbiamo deciso di soggiornarvi. Peccato che non è tutto oro quel che luccica... Le camere anche quelle superior non sono niente di che... Ampi spazi (anche troppo) sicuramente si ma a stile e arredamento post datato. Pulizia OK, ottima vista sulla foresta nera e buona colazione ma il prezzo è alto soprattutto perché fanno pagare la tassa di soggiorno 2 volte giustificando che é obbligatoria (assurdo).

Hier verbleven als uitvalsbasis in het awarte woud. Goede keuze, mooie plaats met torentje voor uitzichten. Daarnaast ook verschillende wandelingen. Genoeg parking voorzien. Misschien wat veroudert qua interieur maar wel verzorgd en alles wat je nodig acht. Kindvriendelijk. Genoten van het lekkere ontbijtbuffet en avondmaal is superheerlijk en dikke aanrader. Prijs kwaliteit is prima in orde. Een topper.
