「We (3 couples) stayed overnight on our way from Jasper to Vancouver. The rooms are big, the beds very comfortable and we had a microwave, tea/coffee facilities & a little oven. The staff are lovely & really helpful and there are a lot of options for food/drink within walking distance.」
「Heard reviews of car thefts at the parking lot that got us worried but there was none of it during our stay. Car park was pretty well lit. The room we got initially had a broken door that couldn’t lock so we had to pack up and move to another room. Happy that the hotel upgraded us a suite as they were not able to find a room that had the same layout as the one we booked.」

The bed wasn’t terrible but it definitely needed replacement. I wouldn’t recommend staying here even if you’re on a budget like we are.
KK Hoffman (Canada)I felt safe taking my dog out for walks around the neighborhood. There weren't any unsavory characters hanging around the parking lot or in the neighborhood. There was a nice neighborhood a block away and you can see that the owners took pride in their gardens.
It was nice that the air conditioning was already on when I checked into the room.
MMahesh MukhedkarI stayed overnight with a friend and had a comfortable experience. The breakfast was quite good as well. It’s a great place for a short stay—perfect for an overnight or a one- to two-day trip. While the location is a bit far from downtown, there’s ample parking available, which was very convenient.
DDeva.Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Kamloops is a solid choice if you're looking for a place to stay in the city center. It's close to restaurants, shops, and other key spots like the hospital and courthouse. Plus, it's super budget-friendly, which is a major plus.
The hotel itself is a bit older, but it's clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are pretty basic. Just keep in mind that there's no pool or fancy breakfast spread – it's more of a continental-style breakfast. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room that faces the back, since the street noise can be pretty loud.
Overall, it's a great choice for a quick stay or if you're on a tight budget. Just don't expect any frills or luxury amenities. It's a no-frills spot that gets the job done, and the location is basically unbeatable.
FFawadRoom was big enough with AC, Microwave and refrigerator in it. Location was good as there was a shopping mall nearby. Also Tim Horton is on walking distance. Carpet of the lobby was not clean. Room carpet was a bit cleaner than the lobby one
SShaun7heSheepAcceptable for this price! Also, on the booking site (Trip.com) states that breakfast is included, which is wrong. The hotel manager told me that they stop providing breakfast since 2013. Please update your options on booking site.
