「We booked 3 rooms , and all the rooms were not too clean. For a hotel new hotel it’s considered pretty bad maintenance. The bathroom is only half covered, I don’t get it why. And the water splashes outside. As Asians, we shower twice a day. To us the cleanliness of toilet is very important. And bed is pretty small for a king bed. The lobby and breakfast is great but not the room」

For Chinese people who are used to drinking hot water and eating warm meals, after being "tortured" by all the cold bread and cold salads in the Swiss German-speaking region, it’s such a relief to finally be able to buy cold food from the supermarket, take it back to the room, and heat it up before eating. Haha... The bathroom facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner seems to be retrofitted too, so it has a separate remote control instead of being controlled by a panel on the wall. The breakfast is quite simple with not a lot of options. If you want coffee, you need to ask the waiter, and they’ll brew a pot separately.」

When I unfortunately sprained my ankle, he even lent me crutches and provided information about a nearby hospital, which was extremely helpful and much appreciated. 「The room is clean, pretty small, location is good, about 10 mins walk from the train station. The downside is the water from the tap takes a very long time to become warm, so my hands developed frostnip just after one night stay. The food in the restaurant is very nice, recommended.」
