「This was by far the best stay compared to our previous trips in China! Even after returning home, my kids keep asking to go back. The cleanliness and overall experience were outstanding. While it’s a bit on the pricier side, I would highly recommend it for anyone seeking a comfortable and peaceful stay. It’s absolutely worth every penny.」
「What a great stay we had! We were there in off season in late December, but we fell in love with the town, the people and this hotel / B&B. We had a beautiful room with fantastic views on the fields. Everything was clean and in order. The breakfast was freshly cooked for us every morning and it was fantastic every time. The owners were so caring and welcoming, really a lovely couple that is also happy to share stories about the town and their way of living. Even picked us up at the entrance of the town and also brought us back there when it was time to leave. We recommend this place 100% and will come back for sure to this little paradise! Also the location is great, everything can be reached by foot easily.」

「I loved this place so much that I stayed 5 nights. Yang the owner speaks perfect English. I rang the day before and he was waiting at the train station with my name on a sign. He helped me organise the entrance fee. Mine was free as I'm 73 years old, even though I am a foreigner. I am travelling on my own from New Zealand. The train station pick up was free and very useful. If you take the bus it's a long way from the ticket office and bus stop into the village. Yang then transferred me into his smaller vehicle to go up the little lane to the hotel. The hotel is 5 minutes walk into the village and has a great view of the village.. It is quiet as it's a little bit away from the busy centre. The room was perfect. Everything new and very clean. And no smells. The bed was extremely comfortable with good quality bedding. I used the washing machine in the room to wash my clothes. There was tea and coffee provided. Yang took me on a full day trip to see some other local villages that have no tourists. We walked around the villages together. It was fantastic to have an English guide to explain everything. We saw people making rice wine, making indigo dye, building a house using traditional techniques. We saw a fighting buffalo. Yang chatted to the people and explained what they were doing. This was the best time I have had in China. He was a good careful driver. The breakfast was huge! So many dishes, including fruit. Yang was always available to help me with any questions and we had good talks every morning when he helped me plan my activities.」
「Spectacular!!! The place is magical, the service is outstanding, and the rooms are perfect—spacious, spotless, clea, and, being set on a hill, they offer wonderful views over the village. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive; they genuinely enjoy helping and making the experience feel truly special.
The breakfast is delicious, and upon arrival you’re welcomed with pastries, coffee, and fresh fruit. On some evenings, there are traditional singing performances at the hotel, and the team is always available on WeChat to assist with anything you might need.
Truly, a place I would remember again and again!」
ゲゲストI stayed with my little daughter at Jia&Tong's home stay. It is an amazing place at a great location. It is central and you can walk everywhere but just of the busy main road facing a river. It was nice just looking out of the window and watch the life outside. The room war really nice and cosy and well equipped. However the best thing was the kindness and helpfulness of the people. The provided a lot of helpful information and even offered to pick us up with an umbrella when it started raining. I had a little knee injury and could t walk to well and they went really out of their way to accommodate me. Thank you so much again for everything!!
ゲゲストWithout a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I’ve ever experienced. Its prime location in the Center of the village with a wonderful view on the old houses , and the rooms are impeccably clean. The service is amazing , drinks at the entry, wash clothes, breakfast … everything is really perfect but what truly stood out was the incredible kindness of the staff.
They helped organize everything and provided a breakfast box as I was I left too early in the morning. I totally recommend this place and this village has been definitely one of the main highlights of my 20 days trip in china :)
JJohn Charles ChasteenThe Creekside Inn has modern, elegantly designed rooms (I can’t emphasize that enough), a very good location with beautiful views, and a friendly, capable staff, that truly goes out of its way to be helpful— all of this at quite favorable prices. The water is hot and the bed is heated for winter in the mountains. I stayed four days, and would’ve stayed longer had I had time, just because I felt so wonderfully at home there. I left with plans to return with my wife next year. English spoken. Oh,and I got a splendid breakfast tailored to my individual dietary requirements! I have visited 35 countries and traveled all over China, and I have never been happier with my accommodations anywhere!
SStanley The Travel ManThis hotel is hotel # 7 in my month long journey through China. In Zhenyuan Ancient Town , Xiaoqikung and Xijiang ( 西江千戶苗寨), when the hotel has no elevator , the owners insist on bringing my luggage upstairs. I don’t see any of that in this hotel. Not that I need it because it is only on the 2nd floor but the gesture, the insistence speaks volumes.
In 西江千戶苗寨 , the owners ,a couple from 湖南 doesn’t have the best room but their eagerness to help was more than enough to make up for the not so nice room. I saw the couple on the street and the owner offered me a banana. On the day of departure, the male owner insisted on walking out with me. He pulled my luggage . They didn’t have a car. A few steps in our journey, he stopped me and even carried my big backpack . We took the bus together to the main entrance where we bid goodbye there. That kind of service is really above and beyond what was expected. This hotel offered pick up and drop off service too and I am thankful for that.
The owners were very friendly though
I don’t like the room because it was too dark for me. There are 2 chairs on the balcony because the room is too small to fit them. The days were hot when I was there so I didn’t sit outside. Inside the room was a tiny stool for one person.
On my last full day I wechat the owner son and asked if he could empty my garbage because I ate fruit in my room . He replied no problem. 4 hours later at 3 pm when I return, the garbage was still there so I ended up emptying the garbage myself.
The location is very good. The view was good. The WiFi was strong.
