歴史ある洪坑土楼群の中心に位置する長地旅館での一夜は、厦門旅行で最も忘れられない体験の一つとなりました。何世紀も前に建てられた客家の土楼の中にあるこの宿は、一歩足を踏み入れた瞬間にタイムスリップしたような感覚に襲われます。 分厚い土壁、木の梁、そして往時を物語るアンティークな装飾に囲まれたこの滞在は、伝統的な客家文化と建築を深く体験できるものでした。さらに特別な体験となったのは、この土楼を建設し、保存してきた一族の6代目の子孫である、親切な宿の主人との出会いでした。彼は様々な逸話や地元の情報を教えてくれ、この体験をさらに有意義なものにしてくれました。 部屋はシンプルながらも清潔で快適で、素朴な魅力と基本的な現代的な設備が調和していました。一日の散策の後には、愛情を込めて丁寧に作られた家庭的な味わい豊かな本格的な客家料理を堪能できました。 静かな村の雰囲気の中で目覚め、地元の人々の日常生活を眺め、外で鳥のさえずりを聞くのは、都会を離れて心安らぐ貴重な体験です。

This hotel is a beautifully converted tulou, offering a modern and polished take on a traditional structure. While it may lack some of the original lived-in charm you might expect from such heritage buildings, it still provides a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The service was a standout, staff were warm, attentive, and always willing to help. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, which really enhanced the overall experience. As for the room design, we were initially impressed by the split-level layout, with the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom and toilet below. However, this became a bit inconvenient, especially for older guests needing to use the bathroom during the night. The shower setup was another slight drawback, as there’s no space to hang clothes or towels inside. This means you have to change outside the shower area, making it difficult for others to use the lower level at the same time. These were minor inconveniences rather than major issues, and they didn’t take away from our overall enjoyment of the stay.

とても素敵で可愛い建物、美味しいコーヒーと食事、そして何よりも優しい従業員の方々に大変癒されました。 従業員のうちの一人のおじさんは、翻訳機を使って沢山話しかけてくれ、バイクで近くの美味しい水牛料理のお店に連れて行ってくれました‼︎ ここの街は元々次の目的地に行くための繋ぎで1泊しかしないつもりでしたが、余りにもこちらのホテルが素敵だったので休憩も兼ねて延泊してしまいました!笑 1階部分はコーヒーショップということもあり沢山の方が訪れ、一人旅の私にとっては多くの地元の方と交流できるということも嬉しかったです。 一つあげるとすると、虫にときどき遭遇しました。 （季節柄、もしくは屋上が庭になっているから仕方ないのかも?）（とても可愛いお庭でした!） 小さい羽虫程度だったのであまり気になりませんでしたが、気になる方は虫除けなど持っていると安心かもしれません。 とにかく、価格も良心的でこんなに素敵なホテルに滞在できたのは幸運でした。次回永定に来るとしたら、ぜひここに泊まりたいです!

More than a Stay - A Warm Family Welcome in the Heart of the Tulou! From the moment we arrived, we were treated not as tourists, but as guests of the family. The hosts – the Father, Mother, and their Son – are the soul of this place. They are incredibly friendly and go so far above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and special. The Son was our main point of contact and coordinated everything for us with great patience. He arranged our visit to the magnificent 振成楼 (Zhencheng Lou, the ”Prince of Tulou”), with Mother sharing fascinating stories about its history that you won't find in guidebooks. But where this family truly shines is in their genuine care. As overseas visitors, we were completely unfamiliar with local transportation and booking systems for our next destination. The Son sat down with us, helped us navigate the Chinese online systems, booked our train tickets, and gave us detailed instructions for the rest of our journey. He spent a significant amount of his own time to ensure we were set up for success, which was a gesture we will never forget. The homestay itself is a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Decent simple home-cooked breakfast with the family was priceless. In summary: · Hospitality: Unmatched. The family's kindness is the #1 reason to stay here. · Authenticity: A true Tulou living experience. · Convenience: Perfect location for exploring the nearby Tulou clusters. · Value: Worth every penny for the personal service and care. Beautifully designed and renovated earth building! It was nice to get to stay in one of the tulous itself. We rented the whole building of 6 rooms for our family. All rooms are on the 2nd floor. 5 out of 6 rooms have a bathroom that is on a separated floor from the bedroom. There’s only one room that has bathroom on the same level as the bedroom. So, it may not be ideal for the elders. The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area. There’s a small stream of river flowing in front of the house throughout the village. Very serene. We got to see locals living their usual lives, farming and picking crops. However, it’s a bit far from any main tulou sights. The staff were very nice, but lack knowledge of the attraction sights.

Extremely convenient for visiting the tulous. Situated next to a big tulou/hotel that provides a night show but room rate is only a fraction of that. Of course level of accommodation is reflected in the price so it is your choice. The inn keeper at the inn doubles up as waiter at its restaurant at night. LOL. But food is good, taking into account this is deep in the countryside. The inn keeper also helped us to arrange car to go back to the city which is very useful

素晴らしい体験でした！土楼に泊まるなんて最高！私たちが泊まった部屋にはなんとバスルームまでついていたんです！オーナーさんもとても親切で、チェックインがかなり遅かったのに待っていてくれました。台湾からわざわざ来たので、とても親切にしてくださって、美しい赤いランタンを開けるのを手伝ってくれました。素敵な写真になりました！写真も撮ってくれて、下山用のバスのチケットも手配してくれました。外国人観光客への配慮が素晴らしいですね！本当にありがとうございました！最高でした！次回機会があれば、家族や友達と必ずまた来ます！

説明と一致して写真を撮る時間がありませんでした。部屋もとても静かで、マットレスもとても快適です。私は数回そこにいました。外の景色も悪くなく、近くで食事をするのにとても便利で、スナック通りがあります

Tulou Prince’s B&Bまで歩いて行けます！最初は、土楼の集団に直面してどこから始めればよいのかわかりませんでしたが、B&B の女性はすぐに親切にルートを計画するのを手伝ってくれ、私たちを土楼王子まで送ってくれました。 2階に上がると、夜と朝の土楼を感じました。民宿の食事も美味しいし、山の味覚も美味しい！この旅行はそれだけの価値があります!

It was a great experience staying at Xihu Hotel in Longyan! I upgraded my stay to a very nice spacious quiet room with wc, shower and washing machine, it was recently renovated and super comfortable, perfect for having a good rest after visiting the Fujian Tulou and the historic city of Tingzhou. The hotel is located very close to the train station and has plenty of options for places to eat nearby. Qui Suchen is a great host, she really wants you to feel like home in Longyan! Thank You sister Qui Suchen for making my stay in Longyan memorable!
