In our street called Buenavista there are about 3 other homes for permanent friendly residents and a hotel called Casa Buenavista that is located in the corner. From our location you can walk to 4 amazing restaurants within 2 to 4 blocks away. There are also a couple of tour companies in town to help you arrange your activities, one is called Octopus Costa Rica and it is recommend for the dolphin tours and a wonderful ocean experience. Water activities are the highlights of our town. Anything from swimming, going for a dolphin and whale tour, fishing for inshore and offshore, kayaking and paddle boarding, snorkeling at Punta Indio and Isla Chora or just taking an adventure to the jungle by ATV or side by sides to swim in a waterfall and have a barbecue in a secluded paradisiac white sand beach. Everyone is friendly in our community and happy to provide great service for people visiting the area. Samara offers lots of restaurants in front of the water and lots of souvenir shops. There are a handful of tour operators that offer great activities for adults and children. Playas del Sur and Roble that also belong to our town offer a paradisiac experience with a small waterfall flowing right into the sand in the months of May through November and lots of tide pools. The walk is easy and you will see lots of species of birds including Kingfishers, lots of egrets and scarlet macaws. The gentle walk provides so much beauty. A lot of people like to do this walk early in the mornings to see the sunrises or some may prefer to go for a sunset cruise and swim. If you feel adventurous you can walk all around the Punta Indio rock at the North side of the beach.
