Contemporary first-floor apartment, located in the beautiful fishing village of Appledore on the estuary of the River Torridge, just a short distance from the North Devon coast. Appledore, with its delightful traditional harbour, an array of shops, and a choice of eateries is very popular with families and couples alike. In high season a small ferry boat runs across the estuary to the neighbouring village of Instow, home to a yacht club and a pleasant sandy beach. For those who want to get out and explore more of the area, there is plenty to see and do within a 15-minute drive of the property, including the harbour town of Appledore, the beach at Westward Ho!, and The Big Sheep family fun park. All-in-all this area makes for a wonderful holiday destination, whether you want a relaxing or fun-filled time. External stairs from the parking area at the front of the property, lead to the front door which opens into the lounge/diner. This lovely light-filled space has a light and airy feel, thanks in part to the fresh-feeling seaside theme of the apartment. A Chesterfield-style (sofa bed available on request at an additional fee) and matching armchairs, offer a relaxing and comfortable place to sit. The dining area has a table which comfortably seats six, which is perfect for family meals.
