Gull Cottage is a great choice for a family holiday with four bedrooms in a wonderful location just a couple of hundred yards from the beach down a leafy lane or for those who want to be close to the beach in a holiday cottage that enjoys privacy and a secure garden.A house of character and history originally built in the 18th century, the current owners have retained the character of the house and modernised it sympathetically to make it a great holiday home with all modern conveniences.Just a couple hundred yards from the beach, Gull Cottage as well as the secure garden has a summer house, a great place for children to have as their den or for adults to have a chill-out area.Internally the cottage is well laid out for holidays and is in excellent decorative order throughout - and stylish. The open plan living/dining and kitchen areas are accessed via French doors, which lead on to the enclosed sheltered patio garden, summer house and decked area with garden furniture.The kitchen is well equipped including a dishwasher and the spacious living / dining room comfortable for the whole family to be able to enjoy their meals together and to relax after a day out and about or simply enjoying the house and garden. There is a guest wc on the ground floor and the utility room is housed on the lower ground level.The first floor has a double bedroom with a six foot bed with an en-suite shower room and wc and a twin bedroom with separate wc.The second floor has a double bedroom with a six foot bed and a further bedroom most appropriate for children with a single bed and trundle bed which share a family bathroom with a bath, overhead shower and wc.Gull Cottage is an excellent holiday home and includes a microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer with private off road parking for up to three cars.The Latest Reviews:Pretty cottage in ideal location. The beach looks beautiful day and night and we spent evenings there having drinks after visiting the various restaurants in the area. Close to beach - 100m, close to shops - Co-op, boots, a few restaurants/pubs, a good bakery and fantastic butchers. Well-equipped throughout, TV, internet; 100m to the beach; 400m to shops inc Boots, Coop, several eateries, excellent bakery; very quiet cul-de-sac. And on the sheltered end of the island.
