「What I enjoyed most about Buxton was its peaceful atmosphere. It felt like a place where you could slow down, relax, and appreciate the beauty around you. I loved strolling through the well-maintained gardens, sitting outside with a refreshing drink overlooking the park, and admiring the town’s impressive Victorian architecture. Staying in the Wedgwood Suite at the Palace Hotel & Spa made the trip even more memorable. We managed to secure it at an amazing price, making it feel like a real luxury experience without the luxury price tag. While the spa is a little dated and could do with some cosmetic updates, it was still enjoyable and a lovely place to unwind. I also enjoyed the fun touches around Buxton, like the giant outdoor chess set, which added character to the town. Overall, Buxton has a unique combination of history, elegance, green spaces, and tranquillity that makes it a wonderful destination for a relaxing getaway. It left me feeling refreshed and reminded me that sometimes the simplest escapes are the most rewarding.」

「Best Western Plus Buxton Hotel Stayed here for one night during my Peak District trip. The hotel is very well located, right in the centre of Buxton and close to the Pavilion Gardens, bus stops, and walking routes. The room was clean, comfortable, and warm — perfect after a long day of hiking. Staff were polite and helpful, and the overall experience was smooth and hassle-free. A solid choice if you’re exploring Buxton and the Peak District using public transport.」

「Nice clean modern hotel, near enough to the centre of town but the wrong side of town having said that the amenities at the hotel included air conditioning which was most welcome in the hot weather」

「Lovely place in a remote location very peaceful. Everything was perfect. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Accommodation was clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and the large walk-in shower was great. Little outside patio with two chairs and a table overlooking the hill side and amazing countryside views was a real bonus and idyllic. There are plenty of walks for you and your dog (Blind Bull is dog friendly and some rooms allow dogs to stay too). If you are looking for peace  and quiet, we highly recommend the Blind Bull.」

「Great location, comfy bed and amazing view from room number 7. Bathroom is slightly small, door could not be closed properly but the shower is really nice.」

「This is my best hotel experience, I was waited on my Vol who bless him tried his best to provide all I needed even gave me tips on how to get around the town. Their breakfast was top notch, was served as if I was at the Ritz’s Hotel. His wife was the chef and my God, she was good l, very large portions. Packed some in a lovey box, see pic and made hot chocolate to go as I was in a hurry for two day. God bless you both🥰🙏 Thanks again, will surely come back❤️🤎」
