「This hotel's location is very convenient, it's only on top of Dundee train station. The room, while simply designed, was very clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. The water pressure in their bathroom is really strong. After a long day of walking, taking a hot shower is so comfortable and makes me feel completely relaxed! For this price, finding such a quality room in downtown Dundee is really great value. The staff were very friendly, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. I would definitely consider staying here again!」

「I have few friends in Dundee. Mostly a day trip to see them. Occasionally staying over in Dundee city centre. But I have never stayed in this place before. The room I was given was very spacious with a panoramic town and River Tay view. Everything was so clean, large bathroom, comfortable bed. I have a morning routine of stretch exercise. Sometimes I cannot do that when I am staying in small hotel room. But Double Tree's room was big enough for me to enjoy morning stretch. Complimentary buffet breakfast was great. There is a pancake maker in the breakfast room. And not one, two pancake makers! Never seen anything like it at buffet breakfast setting. I made one for myself. Never used the maker before so the finishing pancake was not perfect but I enjoyed it. Staff were all friendly and attentive. I had a very good stay. I highly recommend this hotel.」

「I know this is a budget hotel but there is a lot more effort needed. There should never be mould showing around bath seals etc. It’s an easy fix. General cleanliness poor. We had to clean areas ourselves even after being transferred to another room after complaining first room hadn’t been cleaned. The staff in general friendly and helpful. Bins outside hotel full to the brim. I have a feeling staff don’t really care to much about how hotel looks. Anyway did the job for a few nights stay. But if I had the choice I would pay extra for a better room elsewhere and hopefully cleaner.」

「The hotel location is really good just opposite Dundee University. In the old building, they have a lot of parking lots as well. The room is spacious. The Internet connection is OK. The hotel is classic architect. The only thing I want to mention is about breakfast you need to order to the staff, but of course can refill, however, not many option tho.」
