「This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not. I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming. I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again.」

「Clean and comfortable room, a little small, but it was a single room. Good value for money. Quiet environment which I appreciated, as a business traveller. Good location not far from the M3. Polite front desk staff. The only negative is that, like many hotels, weekend breakfast does not start until eight which means no breakfast for me as I have to leave for work at around eight. Wish hotels in this situation would provide a coffee and croissant/Continental option for guests who have to leave earlier.」
