「The host was incredibly friendly and helpful! He recommended many great places to visit in Windermere and even helped us call a taxi when we were leaving. We really enjoyed our stay here, and we would definitely choose this place again if we come back to Windermere!」

「湖水地方のウィンダミア湖にあるボウネスという小さな町では、ホテルから湖畔の桟橋まで下り坂があり、景色も美しく、ボートに乗ることができます。元旦の休暇に間に合うように、宿泊施設はまだ少し逼迫しています。ここの朝食は素晴らしく、賞を受賞しています。駐車場は簡単かつ無料で、家のすぐ外にあります。スイートの外には庭園があり、夏には庭に座って過ごすのがとても快適です。」

「The YHA is situated between two lovely towns, Ambleside and Windermere, offering the perfect opportunity for a variety of walks. The staff were very helpful and polite, and the view from the hostel’s patio was breathtaking. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Thank you – we had an absolutely fabulous time!」

「朝食は美味しく、周囲の環境も良く、交通の便も良かったです。唯一の欠点は、部屋の暖房が時々点いたり消えたりすることと、ホテルと予約プラットフォームの間で意思疎通がうまくいかなかったことです。プラットフォームの提案に従い、3泊で2つの異なる部屋タイプを予約（1日目と2日目は部屋A、3日目は部屋B）しましたが、ホテル側は私たちが1部屋（より安い部屋）しか予約していないと言い、もし私たちが強く主張しなければ、価格差を無視して同じ部屋に3泊連続で泊まらせてくれるような気がしました。結局、問題は解決しましたが、それでも少し不満を感じました。」

「部屋は十分な広さでした。駐車場もたくさんあります。プールは素敵でした。庭園から湖の素晴らしい景色が見えます。とてもフレンドリーなスタッフ。おいしい食事。気持ちのよい庭園。ラウンジには素敵なソファがあり、リラックスできました。 いくつかの小さな問題: シャワーの水圧が足りず、トイレがきちんと流れず、トイレの床に血痕があり、シャワーを浴びるのにお湯が出るまでに時間がかかりました。」

「Rum Doodle, well it was our first time at The Lakes and it certainly won't be our last! The location was just right with being part way between Windermere town and Bowness and was walkable to both. There were plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in walking distance as well as lake Windermere itself. We found Rum Doodle with ease and was greeted at the door with a smile and friendly man (the owner but didn't catch his name). We were bought a fresh glass of apple and orange juice to our room which was refreshing after a long drive to Windermere. Our room was comfy, not too big or too small, a wardrobe, seating in the bay window, hairdryer, hot drink making facilities, wine glasses with cork screw and bottle opener. Very modern, clean and well presented bathroom with soft and fluffy towels, and a really nice shower. The bed was very comfortable and welcomed after a busy day exploring the surrounding area. Breakfast was really good with cereal, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast, and then a choice of breakfast which were great too. We had a pleasant and informative chat at breakfast with the lady that works there who gave us the heads up on some driving routes to try and avoid which was really useful. After a day out exploring we went back to Rum Doodle to a cleaned room and freshly made bed with the tea and coffee replenished, so we were able to just drop and the bed with a nice cuppa and biscuit. Then out for a walk, some lovely food and a couple of drinks. We couldn't recommend The Lakes and Rum Doodle enough! Well worth every penny」

「The hotel was hospitable with very friendly staff however location wise it was quite far from the places I wantes to visit however it was close by to the town centre with many halal restaurant suchs as lake raj. Overall it was a pleasant stay!!!」
