If you keep south another 15 minutes, you will find Ocean City MD with a full array of vacation activities, attractions, dining and night life. If you head north about 25 minutes, you will find Rehoboth Beach which has a flavor of its own. The Rehoboth Outlets have unending shops with tax free purchasing for those who love to shop.Also the Cape May-Lewes Ferry is a great trip to the iconic Cape May New Jersey, but it is a full day's trip and you probably won't want to leave your perfect spot for that long.All-in-all, this is a marvelous vacation location!
