Lovely artful cottage nestled in town among mature trees on a quiet lot a short walk to town and Lake Michigan beaches, Our home has three bedrooms, perfect for a party of 6. One queen bedroom downstairs. The upstairs primary bedroom is large and full of light with a king size bed and a toddler size day bed. There is a TV as well as a walk in closet. The additional upstairs bedroom has a full size bed. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and windows that open to let in the cool summer breeze. There are two full sized bathrooms, one upstairs with a tub/shower and one down with a full size walk-in shower. Towels, Shampoo and Conditioner, and hairdryers are provided. The cottage kitchen is well stocked with a 12 cup drip coffee maker and tea kettle. We do not have a dishwasher but do provide paper products if you choose to keep things simple. Of course there are cleaning supplies and drying racks for doing dishes at the house, we hope you will enjoy the simple task and gratification of washing dishes.Plenty of room inside for gathering, games, and meal time. The open floor plan on the main level offers a comfy seating area, new smart TV (Netflix provided) small cafe table, and dining space near the kitchen for everyone to enjoy. The garage has been converted into a hang pad with ping pong table, foosball table, and TV. There is a beach wagon and beach towels. On the main floor, you will find a full kitchen stocked with all you need to cook breakfast, a casual meal or a full dinner if you like. All-Clad cookware, Smeg coffee pot, Williams Sonoma dishes, a Kitchen Aid mixer and all the serving pieces, platters, bakeware, kitchen gadgets and appliances you’ll need! A spacious dining room also offers a sliding glass door and access to the beautiful side yard and deck. The perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or favorite afternoon beverage. The living room is nicely outfitted with new upscale furnishings and a gas fireplace for those chillier evenings. Also feel free to enjoy your favorite show or movie on the flat screen TV or listen to your favorite Pandora or Spotify station on the Sony sound system. You will also find a generous, updated full bathroom with tub, a bedroom furnished with a new queen-size bed, dresser and nightstands as well as a foyer, mud room and stackable washer and dryer. On the second floor, you will find two additional bedrooms, one with a new full-size bed and built-in desk and the other with a new queen-size bed, dresser, nightstands, walk-in closet and bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower wand. There is outdoor seating on the front porch and ample off-street parking on the side and rear of the house. We can also provide a gas BBQ grill upon request if you like.Feel free to fill the fridge with goodies from Oleson’s grocery store, stop for those quick last-minute items at Bridge Street convenient store, take in a movie at Charlevoix Cinema or enjoy a delicious meal at either Terry’s and Villager Pub all within a 3-minute walk away.
