Nottingham House is a modern home with furnishings remodeled to accommodate visitors to the lovely city of Fairbanks. The home is a duplex, with the VRBO unit on the lower level. Because of the windows and the unit is walk out, it does not feel like a downstairs.The Nottingham House is located in the hills above Fairbanks, providing a quiet private location that is an easy drive to much to much of Fairbanks, including downtown, University of Alaska, Pioneer Park and the airport. The privacy allows quiet views of the stunning winter sunrises, as well as extended animal viewing in the back yard (we sometimes see moose!). With the large, south-facing windows, guests are able to experience the light of Fairbanks at all stages of the year.The unit can accommodate up to 8 guests with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open kitchen and living room area, a dining area, and laundry room. Additionally, there are two pullout couches: one in the living room and one in the master bedroom. Please note that more than 4 guests will add an additional charge of $25 each/night.The large primary bedroom has a queen bed, tiled bathroom, and has a sitting area with a pull out full bed that can be walled off with sliding pocket doors to create a semi-private second bedroom. Another tiled bathroom services the other bedroom, with queen bed, to accommodates the rest of your family. The kitchen is stocked with amenities and small appliances for preparing your meals.
