Once a bustling River Port town, but now a perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Jefferson has something for everyone, wonderful selection of antique and eclectic shops. The dining selections are from very fancy to very funky, all yummy. Live music on the weekends at many places. Great Historic homes, some on tour and a Great Museum. Riverboat rides,Carriage Rides and Ghost Walks, call for times and dates. We are about twelve miles to Caddo Lake and about 12 miles to Lake of the Pines. Come stay for the weekend or for the week.
