Located in the historic town of Welaka, in Putnam County, FL... this beautiful 2 story home, with many recent upgrades and all new furnishings, is located directly on the St Johns River. Bring your boat and explore the many places on the river like Lake George, Salt Springs, Silver Glen Springs, Turkey Island, Dunns Creek & more. A true fisherman's paradise and great family retreat! The house is about a half mile from the Town of Welaka's public boat ramp. So bring your own boat and use the covered boat slip equipped with a boat lift. For those with mobility issues walking up and down stairs, we have installed an outdoor lift that will take you to the 2nd story of the house, instead of having to take the stairs. Please note that the house itself is not wheelchair accessible. In addition to using the lift to take yourself to the 2nd floor, it can also be used to send up your groceries, luggage and take food up and down to the grills! On the 2nd floor you will find the open concept kitchen, living room & dinning room, 2 bedrooms & 1 full bathroom with vanity, tub/shower combo. Large Glass windows and sliding glass doors allows for plenty of natural light and great views of the river! The sliding glass doors open up to the covered balcony with loveseat & 2 patio chairs, as well as a 4 person dining table. The living room has a large screen smart TV with DirecTV (including HBO, Showtime, Starz and Cinemax movie channels), dvd player with movies, puzzles & board games, leather sofa sleeper (queen size) and 2 leather power recliners. The dining room has a large dining table. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensils & small appliances you could ever need! The pantry also has an array of spices you are welcome to use. There is a side by side refrigerator with ice and water in the door, a dishwasher, garbage disposal, & glass top stove with oven and microwave. The 1st bedroom upstairs has 2 sets of bunkbeds. And the other bedroom has a queen size bed. In the closets there are a few extra indoor folding chairs with comfy cushions and foot rests, should you need additional seating. There are also 2 queen size blow up mattresses, if additional beds are needed. Plenty of linens & towels are provided.The whole bottom floor of the house is the Master Suite, with a split king adjustable bed, perfect for watching TV or reading in bed! There is also a sitting area with a leather sofa sleeper (queen size), leather recliner & large walk in closet. There is a large screen smart TV with DirecTV. The Master Bathroom has a beautiful vanity, soaking tub and separate glass enclosed shower and a window that overlooks the river! The bottom floor has it's own A/C unit separate from the upstairs unit. Large glass sliding doors open to the covered patio overlooking the St Johns River. The laundry room is also located on the bottom flooor. There is a front load washer and dryer. In the backyard overlooking the river you will find 2 docks, with electric, lights, water, a large fish cleaning station, and crab traps for you to use. Fish right from the dock, there are plenty of rod holders. If you bring your own boat, we have 1 covered boat slip with a boat lift you can use. In the backyard there is also a large uncovered patio with a firepit, charcoal BBQ grill, dinning table and several umbrellas. On the covered patio there is a gas BBQ Grill, along with 2 bars with 4 bar chairs, ceiling fans & outside shower (perfect for showering off after a day of boating & swimming!) In the garage you will find a weight bench with weights. Exercise bike, ping pong table & a corn hole set. There is plenty of parking in the large driveway for 4 vehicles and 1 boat trailer, or 3 vehicles and 2 boat trailers, you get the picture!There are many restaurants nearby, like Shrimp R Us, Anderson's Lodge (they have the best burgers and wings!), Lexi's Cafe, Renegades On The River, Bobby G's River Pub Italian Grille (yummy pizza, and they deliver to the house!) & more.
