"Slopeside Condos at Timberline" come stay at our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. We are a few miles from Canaan Valley Resort and a 15-20 minute drive to Davis, Blackwater Falls, and Thomas. If you are feeling up for an adventure, you can hike to Dolly Sods right from the condo or walk to the Mountain Owl for lunch and ice cream. Other amenities such as the Canaan Valley Spa and Wellness Center within walking distance or a short drive. Afterwards, you will enjoy the views by the gas fireplace! The condo is on the 3rd floor with vaulted ceilings, a balcony and outdoor gas grill. Nicely updated with copper counter tops, new appliances, and jacuzzi tub. This device does have an embedded microphone and video camera (however we keep the camera disabled/covered). The microphone can also be disabled on the device if preferred (note this would also disable voice control of the property's SMART features). Each night at 10 PM a siren will go off in town indicating that the curfew is in effect for the youngsters in our community. Welcome to the Cabin on Panther Lane. Built on the bones of a 1920's barn, the brand-new cabin is a one bedroom, one and one-half bath cozy, all wood, all electric delight. The covered front porch is spacious with mountain views. Parking is available at the front and back doors. The living/dining/kitchen space is a beautiful open area with an electric fireplace (for ambience or auxiliary heat) and smart television. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, five-burner stove with a convection and air-fry oven, and full-size refrigerator. The bedroom has a queen-size bed. a workspace area and a closet, as well as a smart television. The cabin is equipped with wi-fi and internet. All bedrooms have Smart TV's, and new linens / mattresses / box springs as of 2021-2022. The kitchen has new counter tops, and new tile backsplash, there is also a newly tiled shower. The kitchen is fully stocked for group cooking needs, and has a new easy to clean LVT wood appearance floor. We installed a new hot tub and firepit area in July 2021. The newly upgraded gas fireplace is ready to roll and provide a lovely central space for your group. Keeping everything clean and minimal so there is space to enjoy your trip has been our goal from the beginning, and it has been well received! For Spring / Summer / Autumn guests, we have a great deck area for entertaining, cooking and eating, and the hot tub and fire pit are right in the mix. We are walking distance to Timberline Mountain and a short drive to Canaan Valley Resort so you can easily tap into their events schedule. You are able to hike into the Dolly Sods, play tennis, fish, golf, and enjoy the outdoors without ever driving more than 3 minutes. You are a short walk away from The Owl Market which boasts wonderful pastries and coffee as well as a beer and wine selection and ice cream service. A short scenic drive and you can enjoy the little towns of Davis and Thomas, as well as Black Water Falls. For winter guests, we are located at the base of the mountain, so while you are walking distance to the lodge and lifts, you do not need 4WD to access our property! This is a great bonus in bad weather when the steep roads around Timberline Mountain can make access difficult. We are less than 1000 feet from the lift (0.17 miles) We are local home owners, and live and work at Timberline Mountain.
