We liked the pools and the day time atmosphere. The nightlife was non-existent unless you went next door to Garza. We had issues with the hotel phone and the whirlpool not working on day 1, but was quickly fixed by the next day. Most of the staff was amazing, but there were a few waiters and some of the greeters that seemed more non-personable such as the ones at the morning buffet. We also had a long wait at Davino while seated that lasted over an hour to get our meal, but the waiters were great touching base and apologizing and the manager even came out and made us feel valued. This is why I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.

All about the money, money, money, sign this and sign that. They were only worried about gratitude and they had no activities.

This was hands down the best all inclusive we have been to. We received an amazing upgrade to a 2 bedroom ocean front suite. The service was outstanding and there were always going above and beyond for our daughter with severe food allergies. Caesar at the breakfast buffet was ready for us each morning and always ensured her safety. Armando at Legends was also extremely accommodating! Food at this resort is by far the best we have had and they went above and beyond in all areas. The pools and beach were a hit and we really enjoyed them. The resort was very family friendly.

The pool staff Arad, Angel and activities director Brisa made our stay even more enjoyable than expected. It was my boyfriend's birthday ehile we were there and tge stafg hung banners at our pool umbrellas and made him feel extra special! The room service and staff was impeccable and thorough. Twice daily cleaning, towels and turndown service- amazing! Food in every restaurant was delicious, my favorite was Zamas outdoor dining for lunch and dinner. I would definitely recommend making all dinner reservations as soon as possible- dont wait until the week of arrival as you may not get times that you'd prefer. The beach was very well maintained and offered many shade options. The hotel is literally next door to the Isla Mujeres ferry. Be certain to take a day trip to this little gem. Rent a golf cart just a few blocks into town for $120 for the entire day(not from prople right as you exit ferry ad they are double priced). We cant wait to return to Villa Del Palmer in the very near future!

Concierge staff seemed to be annoyed when asking for information/assistance rather than friendly and helpful. Dining staff, housekeeping, and front desk staff were friendly.

The dining and bar staff were incredibly friendly and service by then was impeccable. Our room was amazing with beautiful views. Truly, very bring went well EXCEPT that my credit card information was stolen and charges were made to an app out of Mexico City. The ONLY place I used this card was to check-in to the hotel for the “hold”(deposit). I went to the reception area and tried to explain this. However; there was no acceptance of responsibly. I was told that the reception staff had all worked there for over a year and no one would steal my information…..I was repeatedly asked if I was sure I didn’t use the card somewhere else upon arrival. I repeatedly stated that the check-in at this resort was the ONLY place I used it. My husband and I had brought cash so we wouldn’t have to use cards. The pesone told me that it was probably hacked in their system. Well, this doesn’t make me feel any better. So, still waiting on my new card as that one had to be cancelled. Thankfully, my bank removed the charges. We made the best of the situation and tried not to allow this to ruin our trip. Just prospect your information because no one will help you.

Our trip to the resort was fantastic. Food was delicious at every restaurant. Bartenders were all nice and knowledgeable. Shout out to the activities crew David, Santiago and Willy for making things fun on the beach. Our kids did not want to leave the kids zone. Valeria and Kimberly were so nice with our girls there. Only thing I’d change is the reservation issue at the restaurants. Should be first come first serve. Anybody with kids knows making reservations is difficult. Can’t recommend Villa del pal mar enough though. Already planning on coming back at the end of the year.

This resort is amazing! Staff were so friendly and went above and beyond for us!! Food awesome. Rooms amazing and the views priceless!

This is hands down the best all inclusive hotel/resort that I have been to in my life. We travel to Mexico annually and have been to other fancy places in the past and this place is my and my wife's favorite thus far. From the check in, till the check out, the service, ammenities and overall ambiance were superb and all employees seemed to enjoy making sure that we enjoyed our stay there. We arrived in the evening and we still received great service at the end of the day, which is often hard to get at the end of everyones shift. I believe that we were checked in by Juan Carlos, whom was so accomodating and he really made us feel welcome. We had made reservations ahead of our arrival and our concierge Sarah was able to confirm our reservations and we liked all of the restaurants. I was the most impressed with the array, variety and taste of the different dishes we tried.This alone will be the reason that we would return there. We liked how attentive employees were and the care given to presentation and the overall experience, even poolside where other places often fall short. Room service was great as well seemed that every detail was though off and we were able to relax and have a worry free vacation. My wife went to the spa and said that she really loved it Our 4 year old daughter did not want to leave and I cant wait till next year as we plan our annual vacation as Villa del Palmar will be our number one choice for a trully relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
