ネヴァ リバー ホテル(Neva River Hotel)

The Aparthotel is located in a rundown area on the side from the main hub. My room was in another building down the road and as a solo woman had to drag my bags up and down the hill isolated from the main part. The bed was as hard as a rock and heating and hot water inconsistent. There was one helpful gentlemen at the front desk, but the rest were not and didn’t seem to care. Unless you’re in the main building, I would not stay there to have to walk up the hill for breakfast.

Staying there was like a nightmare.I booked it for 3 nights but I only could stay one night and run away. Very selfish manager,not respecting , Many different insects in this property.It was horrible.

The gps coordinates we were sent in the email were wrong, so we spent an extra 30 minutes walking around with our luggage to find the place. (Also: look for Neva River Flats - not only hotel). The breakfast was delicious. Our room wasn't cleaned the five nights we stayed. There was a fight in the neighbouring room at 2:30 one night, but the receptionist were very quick to react when we notified them. The blanket was too small for two people, and we tried getting another one, but that was denied by the receptionist.

The property has no elevator, didn't have hot water 2 out of 5 days I stayed there and was cleaned once in 5 days only because I asked for it.

This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It's in a terrible part of town and it is filthy. Not in any way a good place to stay. We checked out and found another place. No not book this place!

Be careful do not even try to book in this hotel , pictures are totally different i just checked in this morning then i checked out now i paid around 150 usd and i left everything because its not refundable, the place its the worst because i booked a double room then they give a small room in the basement, when i said i cant stay there as it was scary for me he gave me a room in the sixth floor where there no elevator, imagine when i was leaving he did not even ask why , what u did not like can we do something to improve our service no he said ok goodbye!!!!!!!! The location was horrible very far from everything and its really hard to find the hotel this is the worst experience of my life .

We booked this hotel thinking it is close to Istiklal Street (famous posh Istanbul shopping area). We reached there and found out this hotel is in dangerous GHETTO area where there are gang signs every where and 500 year old houses falling apart. The roads are sloppy or uphill and the area is like SLUM. very disappointed we canceled the reservation and booked a better hotel in SultanAhmet. Owner charged 200 dollars for cancellation. They have old buildings on different streets and tried to put a family of 12 separated. Bottom line, their 9.2 rating is FAKE.Actual rating should be -4 because of the area and condition of building. Nous avons réservé a l'hôtel Neva River. En arrivant 1h du matin on me dit que l'hôtel est complet et qu'ils ont un logement pour moi.. On marche en pleine nuit dans des petites ruelles pas propre du tout pour acceder a un immeuble qu'ils appellent neva flats. L'appartement est correct et propre, le robinet de la salle d'eau fuit. Sinon impossible de dormir. L'isolation sonore n'existe pas. On entend les gens marcher au dessus comme si ils étaient dans la chambre. Les fenêtres ouvrent sure une cour sale avec des poules coque et chien ( la ferme de mathurin) le coq chante des 2h du matin jusqu'au matin. Et biensur le chien aboie. Si vous ouvrez la fenêtre ca pue. Pour le petit déjeuner il faut aller a neva hotel (5 min a pieds) Bref.. A ne pas refaire. Experience horrible. Méfiez-vous des photos et vérifiez ou vous serez hébergés. J'espere que mon commentaire vous sera utilie.
