We were 5 college friends that booked at OZ Hotel and Sports Bar. We had the best time of our life. We happened to be there during their Halloween Party at their sports bar, Hands down that was the best Halloween Party we ever visited. Crowd was really nice, Live Band, DJ, beautiful and sexy costumes i mean guys check out this place. OZ Hotel is the place to be. Party all night for sure. Rooms are airy, Open and big. Beds are comfortable. Everything is super nice. Best Part. They have a Day Club / Poolside bar which is super nice. Plenty of beautiful girls all the time. Hands down the best. See for yourself.

The Remarkable Oz Hotel and OZ Sports Bar truly live up to their reputation as the best spot in Jaco. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is spotless. The OZ Bar always has fantastic music, and their Poolside Bar is perfect for daytime parties. We were a group of 10, including kids, and had an amazing time at OZ. The hotel rooms were clean and comfortable, and the bar downstairs felt safe. Despite some hesitations from reading reviews, we're glad we trusted our instincts. Prices at the bar and for the rooms were reasonable. Overall, we'd easily give them 5 stars.

I've stayed here multiple times. The manager, ROSIE. Insures everyone is having a great experience. Always the live sports w great music, All the time. Hot food as well. I never delt w any attitude. ALWAYS SERVICE WITH A SMILE

The room itself wasn’t bad (although extremely bare like no shampoo, only 1 towel, etc) but it was insanely noisy from the bar downstairs. Also, the combination to access our room was absurdly easy and a similar pattern likely would have given us access to any other room.

I was hesitant to go to Hotel and Restaurant OZ because of some of the reviews but I was suggested by the hotel staff to go there as that's the best sports bar in town so I gave it a shot. I went to watch a Soccer game with my kids and I bet you I had the best time ever. The staff is very friendly, the bar has all sorts of beers and Alcohol. Lots of Tv's everywhere. Delicious Food. Very safe. Reviews can be wrong sometimes but it all boils down to the experience. We had a lot of fun.

location is good. walking distance to the beach 100-150m. close to main street for shopping, food, etc. rooms are outdated. no mini fridge, phone(not a big deal for most), not enough electric plugs and no usb charging plugs. no bed side lamps. rooms were clean as was the hotel in general. bed was comfortable. shower had good water pressure and temp. this place is more a bar with a hotel attached than a hotel. noisy because of than but is quiet after 1230am. room i was in had a balcony, small but usable. AC and fan worked well with out being too noisy. food was fine but expensive, $10 for a plate of fries, $20 for 3-4 cups of coffee, toast and OJ. would not recommend for families but great for a trip with friends. A bit expensive for what it is.

Great bar food, super friendly staff and clientele. Chill afternoon vibe. Clear. Lots of TVs with sports on. Pool tables. Open air to side street. I would return. Imagine it would be great as the afternoon and evening gets on and buzz increases.

The last few years Oz has been our go to bar for all sporting events. This year they have decided to turn the music so loud our group couldn't even talk while watching the nfl game Thursday night. The food was higher priced and less quality & quantity then before and the new stuff were very unfriendly to almost rude. I understand they now have new owners but they took a great venue, somewhere we visited at least 3 times a week and made it a overly loud and unfriendly environment. Last year, they had amazing staff; but they have all moved on. Luckily, Jaco has other great spots for watching the games (many of them even air conditioned) and so we will move on.....

The team at Oz was outstanding. The bar is a true sports bar, tv’s everywhere. Rose and her staff were more than accommodating. I will be back
