ジコ ロッジ クワイエット ホテル(Jaco Lodge Quiet Place)

Looks nice in the pictures but isn't quite as advertised. Was a bit disappointed with my stay. It's not the worst place but there are lots of better options if you're traveling all the way to Costa Rica. Property manager is non-responsive which is something that I didn't like.

We stumbled upon this oasis in Jaco where we enjoyed their stunning grounds. The small cabins around the pool were lovely as well as the treehouse picnic areas. This place provides hot coffee in the morning and lots of surprises. We were comfortable but heard the morning chickens and late night kids playing ball so the quiet part is questionable.

At first I thought to myself “what have I done”, but it’s not that bad. Small pool area but functional. It could use more than two lounge chairs. The rooms were alright nothing fancy. The bed we had was broken so the sleeps weren’t that great. Breakfast was simple but good. Would I come back here… yes, because it’s is adults only and outside of the busy town. The staff were fantastic and extremely helpful and would get you anything you needed. It was very clean, workers constantly tidying.

Eco friendly “Quiet” Lodge NEGATIVE Upon opening the room at 3:00 sharp as mentioned, my eyes teared and I had to step out of the room. Hardly eco friendly cleaning. QUIET lodge?? As I sat waiting for the 3:00 check in, dogs barking, electronica blaring, not the restfull place advertised.

The service was incredible, great Hotel, members of the hotel cares about you in the time being there, will come back again and again. rooms very clean and breakfast exelent, will highly recomend this Hotel to any one thats going to Costa Rica.

The hotel is adequate, especially for the low price ($50). I always say, you get what you pay for! The room is very small and basically accommodates a bed, which is totally fine. The best part was that it had A/C, but don’t expect hot water! The breakfast is simple, but adequate, for a typical Costa Rican breakfast. The photos on the website are representative of only some of the rooms that are located by the pool, but most are in an older building. The exterior, common & pool areas are well maintained. The staff members are constantly working on many tasks/chores at the hotel. If you try to communicate with the host, Leonard, through TripAdvisor, FORGET about it. I asked for early arrival and he never replied after 2 attempts. I arrived 3 hours early and offered to pay the fee for early arrival which is offered on the site, but since he never replied to my request from the website and also at arrival, he turned me away, but he did hold my luggage when I Asked. He said the check-in office was closed until 3pm, which is actually him changing office! Leonard is stern, unfriendly, never smiles and is less than accommodating. The other person in the office (unfortunately, I only saw him once) and the staff are very friendly. It’s a great thing that they are a cat rescue sanctuary, but if allergic, etc, you should know. They just wander around the property and lounge around which was totally fine.. It’s unfortunate, but my rating is mostly reflective of the lack of customer service, such as providing the incorrect passcode at check in and when I questioned the code and also asked for a pool towel (same as in the room) he seemed put out by my request.

Highly recommended hotel for couples traveling alone and looking for a quiet and eco friendly hotel. 5 ⭐️ Staff 5 ⭐️ Cleanliness 5 ⭐️ Security and Comfort Now, this place became my first option to visit and stay in Jaco.

Nice quiet option away from the noise of Jaco’s main drag. Great staff.

Very basic room with shared bathroom. No fridge or even cups in the room. They got a lot of nerve charging the price I paid for this tiny shed with a mattress.
