Amazing location for surfing & spending time in town. Wonderful breakfast & staff are kind and helpful!

Our 3rd visit to Jeffery’s Bay and we chose On the Beach Guesthouse. So happy we did. Our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated, very clean. We would have slept better on one single mattress rather than two singles together though. The A/C worked very well. Having a small kitchen in the room for coffee and drinks was very nice to have. There is also a every well stocked honour bar. Breakfast is fantastic. Self serve portion plus a menu. All staff were truly exceptional, very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Overall loved our stay and would return.

This being our third time to Jeffrey’s Bay, we really took our time choosing our accommodation. We were very happy with our choice and would definitely return. Staff are wonderful, breakfast is fantastic and our room amazing. Great view, thoughtful touches and attention to detail which always impresses.

What an awesome experience. We did not book, thus they were very accommodation having a last unit available. amnities in our suit were top level. Service from Shipo and the staff were highest level . Breakfast was also very well served with great variety . definitely be back and recommend

We arrived late afternoon, reception area was more like a cluttered office. The breakfast area was a mish mash of furniture and styles. Location ‘on the beach’ but not in the nicest part of town. After going up and down a few flights of stairs with heavy suitcases we arrived in the apar**ent. The covering of the all dining chairs in the apar**ent were tattered and very worn. The bedrooms were tidy but duvets were old. All very dated and mix of styles. The apar**ent does not live up to its 4 + star, ‘luxury accommodation’, and is NOT Boutique. We mentioned our dissatisfaction with Jonas, who checked us in. He offered an alternative room but we were already disillusioned. We checked out. Received an average phonecall from the owner later on, saying she would go into the office in the morning to see what she could do: Which was ‘nothing’, and we paid full price for not staying there at all.

Excellent guest house in the most fantastic location straight onto the beach. Breakfast was plentiful and lots of choice. Room very nice and clean. Staff were very helpful and assisted with ideas for evening meals. Fantastic view from the breakfast area and balconies

We have just enjoyed our third stay in this absolute gem in Jeffrey Bay. The position of the Guesthouse in unparalleled. The establishment is extremely well managed by most competent and wonderful staff who try their u**ost to make one's stay as enjoyable as they can. The rooms are beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable with amazing views of the ocean. The breakfast are first class and the Eggs Benedict and Florentine are a MUST!! We highly recommend this establishment and wish to thank Anneke, Alicia and Belinda not to mention Tsepho and Jonas who looked after us so well.

Great location right on the sand! We had the honeymoon suite which was nice. Breakfast in the main lounge/dining area had a great view of the beach. The staff and food were also excellent

We stayed one night while travelling up the coast. The room was well presented with a great view overlooking the sea. There is parking available and the staff were very helpful Would recommend stopping here if you are visiting JBay
