Great location, clean room but the bathroom was disappointing. Bath shower was not great as the bathroom was all wet.

Really lovely design and decor but agree with other reviews re lack of presence of reception staff and responsiveness. Khalil the manager really tried hard and left the kids a lovely gift on arrival. Nice touch. But the water wasn’t refilled in room any day, we were told to ask the cleaner ourselves each day to make sure she cleaned our room in the mornings as no clean happened day one and when we asked at 2pm ish we were told they’d left. We had left the sign up for a clean. Breakfast offered as an apology for the AC not working yet when we arrived as it had been cold to then. Again nice touch but a hassle when travelling with kids and room temp was 24 degrees. Asked three times for a door stop to access between the two rooms we’d booked. It never came. Finally staff assured us taxi booked for a 5am departure. Night staff called to check. No taxi. Pros are it’s a great location and very clean with good quality towels. Really great coffee.

The hotel has been recently renovated, which you can see on the interior / decoration. Room was spacious and well equipped. Nonetheless, you also see that the building and the hotel overall is very basic, e.g. entrance hall, stairways, elevator etc. I’m not sure if the hotel just recently opened for the season or it was because of the nearby construction works, but the room was very dusty. The construction works nearby are another minus (planned until the end of 2026) and the whole neighbourhood is very down-to-earth. We spent all of our time in Antibes, which is 20 minutes by foot. For the price of the hotel, we would rather have stayed in a hotel in Antibes though. Also, the reception and staff weren’t really present during our stay, which contributed to the feeling of a very basic accommodation (in contrast to the price you pay).

Absolutely one of our favourite hotels in the world! Great location and super friendly staff who do everything they can to make your stay the best possible! Clean rooms , good beds and pillows-and very charming with close proximity to the train station (only 2 minutes walk) and the beach and everything else in JLP. Quiet and nice with a small pool and nice garden too. Highly recommended! When staying in JLP we always come back to Le Sud.

We really liked staying here staff very friendly, the hotel clean and very modern, Thankyou for getting the pool ready for us, sorry we didn’t get a chance to use it, there was so much to see & do! Train station on your doorstep, very cheap and quick to go along the coast to Antebe & Cannes. We had a Mum & Daughter’s mini break here and felt very safe, nice restaurants and bars in the area lots of locals live here too which is nice. Just a few little ******* nothing major but would have been better if the Teas, Coffees, Water, were replaced daily instead of us having to ask & the shower seals were a little mouldy. Thankyou for the little biscuits when we arrived very kind. We would definitely stay with you again.

I have now been a guest at hotel Le Sud whilst attending a conference, every year for the last 3 years. Over this time, I have found the hotel to be very clean with a nice breakfast and facilities commensurate with the hotel rating. Khalil and all his staff have been very helpful and extremely welcoming over the years. I'm sure I will be visiting again.

Should have read closer into the reviews - worst stay I have ever had. Staff was unresponsive for 5+ days to my few inquiries and short/rude which I should have rebooked elsewhere then. The whole hotel smells damp and moldy and the bathrooms were dirty. There are several awkward steps to get in and out the hotel as well as the rooms. My mother and I had several bags and the staff never offered to help with the bags even when they saw us struggling. When asked where we could store our bags upon check out she just pointed us towards their weird back room. Would especially not recommend if traveling with elderly family because it’s not accessible. The management as well as the front desk girl need a real attitude check - every other place we have stayed in Antibes/nice was a million times better than this.

We stayed for 5 nights in September 2023 and our stay was fantastic! All of the staff were so friendly and chatty while being professional. The garden area is so relaxing for a drink or for breakfast. Really short walk to the beach and only two minutes from the train station.
