Spacious clean room, excellent shower, helpful and friendly staff, good wifi and an unbelievably tasty breakfast.

This hotel is average. Its 4-star designation comes from having a pool and spa and providing some "luxury" touches in your room. My bed was comfortable but it filled so much of the space that it wasn't possible to fit a chair at the desk. Overall the staff were great; one staff person spent time making sure I understood where to catch the bus to Ani. They accommodated my request for a new room after the first night. I did have a disagreement with the front desk; my Turkish wasn't good enough to explain my point of view, so I am not lowering my rating based on this disagreement.

High standard hotel at central location in Kars. Staff is going every extra mile to support guest special requests. The room was comfortable, nicely designed and had a great view to the square and old Russian church, currently Fethiye mosque. Rich breakfast, delicious lunch and dinner options. Amazing treatments, like hamam, sauna, swimming pool and massage to make your stay unforgettable. Highly recommended both for business and leisure travel.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, at the hotel we helpful and friendly. We have travelled all the way from Baku and this was the best place we had stayed in. Thoroughly recommend.

Grans Ani Hotel in Kars is a great place to stay. We arrived very late 3:30 AM and they made the rest of our stay very comfortable. They kept the breakfast beyond regular hours of operation knowing we had arrived late. All in all very happy with the stay, service and atmosphere.

I was able to experience the convenient hotel location and the best restaurant food, and I especially appreciate the kindness of the hotel staff.

The Grand Ani is a twenty minute walk or €2 taxi ride from the station, in a reasonably central location and about 20 minutes walk (the other way) from Kars’s upmarket (for Kars !) restaurant area below the castle. Restaurants near the hotel are OK; there’s an ATM two minutes walk from the hotel. Nice size rooms with fridge, room safe, good shower and toiletries. Good airco which stays on when the keycard isn’t in its slot. WiFi variable in my room (from video streaming to barely functional). Good buffet breakfast (omelette on request). Very friendly and helpful staff - whose most important function for me was to order taxis for short hops and to Ani (then I kept the driver for a longer day tour the following day). Few guests when I stayed late June.
