Excellent as always, we stayed at the stables and accommodation was 1st class. We have been staying at the Mains of Taymouth for over 15 years, and it never disappoints. The new upgrade in the stables is excellent, the room on the ground floor was just what my mum needed. The outside was great, with the large dining table and the hot tub was great and used by everyone.

Eight of us stayed in Wester Bruadairs for my stag do. The place was fantastic. I was imagining something good, but Wester Bruadairs exceeded my expectations. My bedroom had its south-facing balcony, big enough for a morning cup of tea. The golf course was great, and the staff were amazing. Highly recommend!!

We stayed in one of The Maxwells cottages and have to say we were very surprised by the high standard of finish. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped and they hadn’t skimped on cutlery or crockery so when we had some friends visit there was enough plates etc. Everywhere was very clean, beds comfortable lovely bathrooms. The wider estate is exceptionally well maintained and near all facilities. Within a stones throw of the bar and brasserie and the shop that sells all the essentials. Also in a great location for the many walks this area has to offer. Walking distance also to the Taymouth Marina and The Ferryman’s Inn where we had a lovely meal. Will definitely be coming back next year.

Lovely accommodation with beautiful views and nice outside space. As this is a 4/5 star resort, I would comment that the 2 seater leather couch wasn’t very comfortable - maybe old and needs replacing? Also the “throw” wasn’t clean and couldn’t be used. I’d like to think that these accommodations are being updated regularly. This is a great resort to chill and we had everything we needed to have a relaxing long weekend.

Brilliant accommodation, fabulous well kept site, fantastic location. Lodge had everything you needed. Large, spacious living room and comfortable bedrooms. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back again next year for another stay.

Stayed in Crannog Lodge at Mains of Taymouth. Super house ideal for our family including our 4 legged members. We visit this area regularly. Love the walks, and the scenery. Will be back!! Mains of Taymouth staff very efficient and helpful thank you!

Fantastic location with very high spec accommodation. This was our 4th visit and we stayed in 14 Maxwells. Everything imaginable was available for our stay and accommodation was spotless on arrival. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant which was reasonably priced with very attentive staff. A special shout out to the two very helpful ladies in reception that were very helpful with our best options for accommodation for our next visit with all the family.

We have been coming to M.O T for 10 years in different properties. This time we stayed in 12 The Maxwells and brought friends. Accommodation was great as always, lovely layout as never stayed in this style of property before. Week equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and beds. And even the weather was good for us. Will return.. :)

We had such a lovely time at Mains as a group of work colleagues celebrating a couple of 'big' birthdays. The check-in was straightforward and efficient. Our villas were impressive - quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings and very well equipped. As a group of 8 friends, we booked 2 properties where the bed configuration was such that we all had a bed each, which was important to us. There was everything we needed in the villas for a very comfortable stay. It was also great to have some outside space. We ate in the Courtyard restaurant one evening which we enjoyed. We ate in on our second evening, getting takeaway pizzas from the nearby Taymouth Marina. One of our group has already booked a return with family in the summer and we are all thinking of making our getaway an annual thing with Mains at the top of our list.
