Located in New Kingston, I stayed at the R Hotel Kingston. The ambiance of the room was great, food was amazing. The staff were very accommodating, Vanessa at the front desk was excellent checking us in, she was very helpful and pleasant . I would recommend this hotel.

What is most important to me when I go to a hotel, is the experience. Rok Hotel Kingston went above and beyond to make sure that I had the best experience possible. Some of the team that contributed to making my stay most enjoyable, Monife - Front Office Agent, Keenan the Head Chef, who went above and beyond to making sure that my Father and I had the best possible lunch experience. Stacy Ann - Dining Room Server, smiled, served and made sure that we enjoyed our meal, Nickesha - Front Office Manager reached out to make sure that ALL was ok, Shantol was our bartender who surprised us with delicious and flavorful beverages. Rarely do you experience so many employees in one place making sure that you are having the best time, and I highly recommend this hotel for your getaway needs. BRAVO Rok Hilton staff!! Well done.
Our flight was late and we got to the hotel sometime after 9 pm. when we reached the hotel, the hotel staff advised us that they had computer problems and could not check us in.
We waited over 1 hour to find out that they had given away our reservation. We tried to get something to eat while the hotel staff tried to find us another room, but the kitchen closed at 10 pm and we were very hungry. They tried to accommodate us and let us order 2 salads to go which took 30-45 mins. When we finally got our salads and we also got notice that they found us a room for the night. When we got to our room, it was very nice. They gave us the executive suite for the night which eased my dissatisfaction in their service for the night. The next day, I asked if we could stay in the Executive suite for the rest of my stay without any additional cost since they could not find us another room as i had originally booked. they agreed and my aunt and i had a great time for 1 full day. On our 3rd day when we returned back to the hotel room after being out the full day, we noticed load machine like sound coming from the room since we were on the 10th floor. Then we notice the sofa seat was wet and water on the floor. Then we noticed water coming from the ceiling running down from the ceiling down the wall and over by the living area and by the bar area. It was crazy. I had to call the front desk and report it. They sent up someone to evaluate and then when they saw it, they called the manager or engineer to take a look. It appears that work was being done on the roof and the water came down into the suite and made a mess of the furniture and floor. The engineer apologized for the inconvenience but and then left. We were left in the room with water all over the floor and unable to use the living room. We ended up having to call the front desk to have then send someone to clean up the water on the floor and on the furniture. We ended up eating in our bedrooms. When we checked out, i mentioned to the hotel staff about the inconvenience we had with the water and the staff was sympathetic but no apologies or offer to give a discount or anything. I decided i would not return to this hotel again. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially with the experience we had.
DO NOT BOOK HERE! First of all you have to climb only about 50 stairs to reach your room. He says “shared” bath room but I quickly learned it meant sharing the bathroom and kitchen with his family. The water wasn’t working for a whole day and the next day barely and the water was cold. Can you imagine not being able to bathe when you want or washing your hand when you go to the bathroom. No AC so prepare for the heat. Waken up every morning by noise because we share everything with his family. With everything that’s going on with going so long without water, finding out it’s a crime to use the fridge, no ac, and the noise I had to check out early. Courtney lied to the company I booked through and said everything was okay even though I showed prove. He refuse to refund me for the days I had left. I literally only left because of his inconveniences. I spend more money and got somewhere much nicer. Please don’t waste your time. This isn’t a hotel. This is a place that he’s lending you some of his rooms because his family lives there. I will never in my life come back or recommend it!!
