キングス ヘッド ホテル(Kings Head Hotel)

The hotel was very clean with barman/manager most helpful and prompt in dealing with us on our arrival. He was serving customers at the bar but said that he would be with us in a couple of minutes, and he was true to his word as he took us up to our room and explained everything to us that we needed to know. We decided to have a drink and dine in the restaurant as the menu looked very good. We were not disappointed as the food and service were first class. As we were staying for two nights we had breakfast each morning in the hotel and it to was first class with an excellent choice and service. As we will probably dine at the Michelin star restaurant again we will certainly return to the Kings Head Hotel. Great food, great service and excellent value for money.

Very friendly and welcoming on arrival. Nice to be known by staff it makes the stay so much more comfortable. It was nice to stay in the cottage as it gave us more freedom. This was really well appointed. Thankyou

It was New Years Eve I had already been sent the menus. I had pre ordered 3 from the Chris**as Menu and was told that the other 3 from the normal/specials menus could order on the night. When we checked in I was told other than the pre orders it was Sunday lunch menu only. I challenged this and was told they would have a word with the kitchen team. Meanwhile we were shown to our room which was in serious need of some TLC. A Chris**as tree outside the window with lights could be turned off but that didn't stop the cold air coming through where the wires were. In the bathroom the wood surrounding the shower door was rotten and the towel rail came away from the wall. The other 2 rooms again needed some TLC and had hairs in the sinks. The kitchen issue was sorted my meal was almost cold and 3 were over cooked. We were rushed with dessert as the kitchen staff wanted to be away. All in all very disappointing. The family made the most of it but will be in no rush to return.

A little to old fashioned and a very long walk to our room,especially with a heavy suit case,over all it was very clean,As we were only there for one night we just we were able to put a few things in a bag to bring up.other than that we would not have been able to stay I think that should be on the web site.Di Foulger.

Great food, great service, great a**osphere and friendly staff. Really liked the quirkiness of the room we stayed in.

Room was at front, loud music from a few doors down till 11.30 pm and loud drunk people walking about outside till 1 am so very noisy. Breakfast very good.

Perfect for me as I was working locally, great breakfast, warm room and great location.

Absolutely perfect from checking in to sadly leaving Very friendly and welcoming Full breakfast was Plentiful (massive well presented plates) Very cosy in room 4 with great size bathroom Bar and restaurant very highly recommended Easy access for bus routes to local villages and the East coast Overall 11 out of 10 for our very enjoyable stay Thank you

The hotel was friendly, good staff, good food, good beer. The room was a little quirky but fine. I would stay there again. Only comment is no radiator in the bathroom which may be an issue in the winter.
