We got married here on the 13th of april 2024, steph who was our go to person if we needed anything, was fantastic. Anne-marie the other manager Is also great! Just unfortunate every time we needed something answered it was steph on shift! No question too big or too small relatively stress free on our end.. Come to the day. We didn't have a big wedding only 30 guests. But you can tell this hotel has experience. We got married in the hotel aswell as the meal and reception, when we arrived we where asked to sit in the bar whilst the finishing touches where done for the ceremony, when they where ready we got called in then send back to the bar again and this cycle was repeated for every step of the wedding so they could sort the room out. They where fantastic they didn't keep us waiting long at all. They where also very accommodating for all our guests. The food was fantastic everyone had something good to say about the meal. Everyone's food was hot and fresh and served quickly. We stayed in the hotel, it was a nice big room, and we got breakfast the next morning which was definitely needed! A big thank you to steph, ann-marie and the team for making it as stress free as possible. We have recommended yous a few times and I think atleast 1 has booked up with you for a wedding! Had tea at the Elbow Room tonight and cannot fault a thing, service was good and the food excellent. They have a bit of everything and its good pub grub. They have a pensioners menu which suited my mum with smaller portions but still plenty on the plate. Place is spotless and our meal wasn't too expensive. Been quite some time since i visited but I will definitely be back.

A lovely building and entrance, including a lovely garden and fountain. Very clean and classy, reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, so modern and clean with plenty of floor space and storage. Big smart tv, hair dryer, iron and board, free mini toiletries, tea/coffee, full length mirror…couldn’t have asked for more at such a reasonable price for the room! Only thing was the room felt extremely hot when I first checked in (even though radiator was not on). I asked at reception if I could have a fan as windows barely open and a few minutes later it was brought to my room! Restaurant and bar great, breakfast lovely…highly recommend this hotel
