Good hotel, good location, nice staff

It was Terrible ! I was at Lindsay from 30 April to 2 May with my family including my 4 years baby. However, I never stayed such a poor service hotel and how they clamed 3* standard, Do they understand what Hospitality ***agement means and what 3* hotel quality should have. I made the booking for 2 nights and once we check in we noticed the poor services and hotel facilities. My baby was facing difficulties to breath and made request to hotel reception to cancel my reservation and want to stay 1 night instead of 2. They refused and de***d full-payment for 2 nights . I was surprised how a hotel staff behaves. It was dirty... I strongly request not to select this hotel to stay.

Excellent hospitality given by Chandana while taking spa, she was easy to communicate and very helpful throughout the process which made my stay more beautiful and memorable. Wish to visit soon and have relaxing sauna and steam, thank you so much ms Chandana.

Nice hotel. Friendly welcome. Room had everything I needed (would be best with a small fridge). Good roomservice. Restaurant on the rooftop with good choice of food and drinks. Breakfast modest, but fine. Staff helpful to help with any questions. Location just opposite of the New market couldn't be better.

One of the best hotel ever visited in kolkata the staff behaviour was so pleasant and so kind All the facilities provided by the hotel altair was just awesome Hotel Member Name Sri***ta was very helpful and kind provided extra time and allowed as to swim as per our want without any restriction That was really kind and lovely gesture from them loved the experience

Pros: Close to Park Street, Esplanade & exactly opposite New Market. Also very close to tourist destinations Victoria Memorial, Birla Planetarium, Indian museum. Breakfast spread was less, but very good. Mr. Imran at the reception & other staff were friendly & courteous. Good for family also. Cons: Room interior was clean, but not clean up to the standard. Toilets - Sanitary fittings were leaking & not operating properly. Also floor & wall tiles were old & require renovation.

Spot on location, hardworking and friendly staff & overall an excellent stay & experience ! Thank you to all the staff from ***ager, Receptionist, housekeeping to the Guards for their service in making it a memorable holiday experience !

The most pathetic experience. They stuck us in a dungeon (Rm 905) up and down the stairs and in a corner - even after booking 10-day ahead. I had requested comfortable stay for my 76-year old mother but they didn't care. And the photos of the hotel/room does not match with the actual experience. Broken taps (Shaky), no hot water (10 lt geyser-have to wait for 10 mins in middle of bath), uncomfortable stay overall and Pathetic people. DON'T GO HERE, IF POSSIBLE.
