Princess of Kos ホテル(Smy Kos Beach & Splash)

We had a fantastic holiday. The hotel was very clean , food was great and the staff were absolutely amazing , with a special mention to Koni who was very helpful making our holiday extra special, including organising a private boat trip for us to enjoy, and of course special mention to the entertainment team who were relentless with fun activities. We was in a group of 10, which included 3 families , with 7 adults aged between 18 to 69 and kids aged 10,13 and 15. Both swimming pools are great , one in the main area and one down by the beach , neither filled with salt water. Watching the sunset a must down by the beach Getting sunbeds not too difficult either. Only thing to watch out for is the Mosquitoes, and the additional charge for some premium cocktails such as Pina Colada , Mojito Thank you

Well after after over 5 months Jet2 have agreed to replace my damaged suitcases, see if we now receive. In reference to the issues with the hotel , although their slogan is “package holidays you can trust” they have confirmed that they are not responsible for issues at the hotel detailed in our complaint- a great get out clause. So be aware - they do not take photos of the accommodation, they ask the hotel to provide and do not update them or check for accuracy! The issue we had with gut wrenching evil smell is nothing to do with them, even though they have admitted it was an issue with the hotels drains and sewage system and they were aware before we even departed! Avoid - they do not offer any service, protection or assistance.

A great experience in the island of Kos! We booked an all inclusive stay for 7 days! Everything was very comfortable, very clean with a nice atmosphere! The food was great and all the buffet were amazing! We really appreciated the polite staff and the manager’s helpfulness!!! Our room was very clean with a great view! All pools were very clean with nice environment! Very well reccomendent

Just returned from Smy Kos Beach and wanted to leave a detailed review of our experience the good and the bad, fortunately nothing ugly but defo a few things that could be improved. Superior Room (block G) - I believe the rooms have been recently renovated. Overall no complaints with our room, it was clean and modern, bright and airy. There were a couple of things however that i feel need to be highlighted. Shower - first time we tried to use the shower it did not work, we called reception and they promptly sent maintenance to have a look, it was fixed and we had no further issues. Bathroom inside door handle - came off in our hand on day 1, we did not report this as it fixed back on again. Safe - we followed the instructions on how to use the safe which i had recieved by email, however the instructions said to re-set at the back of the safe but it was fixed to the wall so there was no obvious way to do this, as a result we were not able to use it. First full day of our holiday in the afternoon we had gone back to the room approx 3pm so my grandaughter could have a nap, whilst we were in the room a staff member opened our door to come in, when he realised we were there he quickly closed the door and left. This was long after cleaning had been in so i am not sure what purpose he would have had to enter. I should have informed reception but it actually slipped my mind in the evening to do so. Mosquitos - We were located on the ground floor and i have never seen so many in all the years i have travelled abroad, to the point where we could not go out on the balcony, they were all over the fly screen. First day i put the wet towels and suits out to dry and when i went to get them in the morning they were covered. I bought citronella candles from the mini supermarket along with spray and eventually a plug in as we ended up with them all over the room wall and ceiling. I don't know if they got in whilst the maids were cleaning or through the vent etc but there were LOTS of them. I did report this to reception and they said they would get the cleaning staff to spray the balcony, this did help a bit but we still ended up with lots in our room, which when sprayed resulted in lots of dead mosquito's on the floor/belongings. I am not blaming the hotel for this as it is nature, however definitely something to bare in mind, i am guessing certain blocks are worse than others as we spoke to a few people, some of which had the same issue and others did not. Food - I had low expectations of the food as i am not a huge an of AI, we booked it as it was a family holiday and was better value for money, however i was pleasantly surprised. Overall the food was very nice with plenty of selection that would suit most. The main restaurant is buffet style with outdoor and indoor seating (indoor can get V hot when busy). We stayed at the end of July and early August. We had a fantastic holiday at Smy Kos. Me, my wife and our two kids just loved it. All the staff are amazing. Just so friendly and always relaxed despite being busy and working long days. My 5year old daughter had a fantastic time whenever she went to kids club with Vanda. Even now she still misses her. My 20 month old son, who wasreally noisy in the restaurant, loved waving to all of the staffwho were really good with him. He even started calling Cathy, Mummy!!, and shouting it across the restaurant which was hilarious. The food was varied and really nice every night. Always plenty to choose. The evening entertainment for kids was great, Vanda again, and also enjoyed a lot of the later entertainment. The lead guy who does the fire show and speaks about 6 languages is really impressive! Being right on the beach is great too as we could just pop into the sea for a little bit each day without having to trek there. This was my first trip to Greece but I can't wait to go back. The staff just made it so enjoyable. The atmosphere with other guests, from all over Europe, was just really nice and friendly too. Can't recommend this place enough.

I recently just came back from a 10 day holiday from Smy Kos Beach & Splash with my family & honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. The staff there are amazing & so friendly especially Orgitto & George who spent a lot of time going out of their way to make our holiday extra special for us which we greatly appreciated & couldn’t thank them enough! We hope this feedback goes back to them as we are so grateful for their warm welcomes & little touches which made the most difference. Thank you so much Orgitto & George!

Awesome accomodation! Food was good.. friendly people. Rooms were okay, only a lot of mosquitos! These were very annoying and almost couldn’t sleep. The almost ****** all’a blood outta me. But over all nice place to be! Enough to do! You can take the bus to KOS town, nice to go there! Paradise beach is also awesome. You need to do your research for some things you want to do, but it’s worth it! It would recommend it!

Just arrived home after a great stay at the SMY Splash & Beach Kos. We stayed for 10 days and travelled with our 1 and 3 year old. The hotel grounds and our room were very clean, our room was cleaned daily with bedding etc changed every other day. There are 2 pools, main pool by the restaurant and the infinity pool, as well as the splash park - we spent most of our time when at the hotel at the infinity pool which was great, especially with our kids as there are shallow sections for them to play in the kids loved it there. The food with most all inclusive did get a little bit samey but was always really nice with lots of choice. The Soloz bar/restaurant is really good if your down at the infinity pool they do a smaller buffet for lunch from 12:30 - really convenient if your down by the pool and want to just grab something whilst down there. The waiters, waitresses and bar staff are all really friendly throughout the hotel. The animation team were fantastic, both our kids adored them all and in particular Mara who was down the kids club everyday, she was great with our eldest. The aqua gym in the morning down at the infinity pool is good fun! The kids loved the mini disco which starts around 8pm. The location of the hotel is the only real downfall, there isn’t much to find within walking distance (especially with a 1&3 year old) but there is a bus stop a short walk away and vehicle rental available from the hotel which we did for a couple of days and would recommend if you do want to venture around Kos, most places that we wanted to visit were all with 10-30 min drive. All in all we had a great holiday at this beautiful island and would definitely recommend this hotel.

What a fantastic holliday/honeymoon we had and the Staff at Smy couldn't of been any better from start to finish ,even little touches for our wedding day with free bubbly on our return back from the reception/wedding/ venue ,organising my wife to get to the wedding car on time , numerous taxi transfers for our guest not to mention the awesome staff in from the hotel , 100s of things I could mention but thank you so so much
