Facilities was very good,food variety was excellent;it was fresh we enjoyed. Only think I recommend is they need more workers ...

Ocean Blue is a medium size resort. Not small. Not huge like Iberostar. However it has lots of fine dining (5) onsite just like the huge ones. Their beach is perfect with lots of free cabana like shaded seating. Only surprise was our scuba shop was onsite but actual dive boat was 2 resorts down the beach at Iberostar. A 10 minute walk, no problem. This side of island a bit choppy for diving. Smoother on South side. Resort super clean, safe and friendly staff. More young families and older couples. No Spring Break teens! Highly recommend this resort for families.

Ótima localização em uma das melhores praias de Punta Cana, paisagismo lindo, boas e grandes piscinas, praça onde estão localizados os restaurantes temáticos é simplesmente linda, cada restaurante tem uma caracterização própria e o melhor, não precisa fazer reserva antecipada! Ponto a melhorar : no final de semana, havia um excesso de hóspedes, faltou comida em todas as refeições e o salão estava bem tumultuada. A comida também é bastante simples.

I would not come back here. Not as kid friendly as they say they are, my baby and I both got sick from the food. Certain staff members were unhelpful or rude.

Overall, we had a great time at the resort. Our room was spacious and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The beach was beautiful though you can see some eroded spots along the beach from past tropical storms. The pool area was beautiful, though the pool water could be a little warmer. I was not happy with the watered down drinks by the pool and beach as the slushies were very watery… I stayed at this resort many years ago and remember the drinks being way better. The drinks in the main lobby bar were better. While the main buffet had plenty of options for lunch and dinner you really have to be careful what you eat as my friend came down with travellers diarrhea and she ate a lot at the salad and fruit bar, so beware. Also, do not brush your teeth with the tap water, only use and drink bottled water. Most of the service was good, but there were a few waiters that were extremely slow in bringing you any items like water or extra cutlery. The worst thing was the check in experience. We arrived in the evening and had to wait on line about 20 minutes to check in. When we got to the counter, the fellow said we had to check in somewhere else across the lobby without explaining why. We booked our trip through ******* but didn’t receive any info about going to a special area to check in. The guy who did check us in never gave us “cards” to get towels or tell us anything about the resort’s restaurants or entertainment schedule or where to even get info so very confusing.

We were never told what prestige meant. Apparently it was an upgrade, but it was never mentioned to us. We never once heard from our concierge. He never would answer his phone or return our messages.
