This is an amazing little hotel. The service is impeccable. We ate at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food was very good with beautiful presentation. The only negative point if you’re looking to enjoy the beach is the location. The property is a bit far from the nicest beaches in the south of Martinique.

Positives, Lovely boutique hotel with excellent staff, especially Stephanie. Breakfast was pre ordered the day before to save waste and it was freshly cooked and presented so beautifully. Rooms large with a balcony and separate garden with a plunge pool. Negatives Pool is in shade most of the day and water is cold, there are also no facilities for a drink around the pool as these are not available until the restaurant opens in the evening. Also they over booked and the evening before we left the UK, we were called to say they’d over booked and we had to stay elsewhere in the first night, something they had prearranged for us including an upgrade at the different hotel. Not that we could make use of the facilities as we were packing up to move to the French Coco.

Had a great time with my partner celebrating my 40th birthday. The hotel is beautiful set in a lush garden just a short walk to the beach. But you have your own pool on top of the hotels pool. The breakfast is made to order and everything is delicious. The staff is very professional, helpful and friendly. They also have a great restaurant which was closed on my b'day but we enjoyed it the other day. The property is eco-friendly and looking very much into sustainability. Thanks for having us. Wish to be back one day.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel French Coco for seven nights in February on the last leg of our Guadeloupe, Marie Galante and Martinique holiday. We arrived in the afternoon having flown from Guadeloupe. We received a warm welcome from the reception staff - check in was slick and we were offered chilled flannels and a choice of drinks. After a brief orientation tour of the facilities we were shown around our accommodation - we had opted for a Caraibe suite. We had a very well-appointed room. There was a king sized bed provided with the standard duvet and pillows. It was a very comfortable bed with a supportive mattress. There were dark out curtains which did a good job in excluding the light from the sliding doors which led on to the terrace. Outside there were two sun loungers around a small splash pool as well as a table with two chairs for relaxing al fresco. There was a rocking chair as well. We could make hot drinks using the appliances on the side board on the terrace. The miniature bottles of rum which greeted us were a very welcome treat and there was another gift of some hotel branded body lotion. In the bedroom there was a safe in the wardrobe. Oddly, it was situated on such a high shelf that we needed to borrow a footstool so that we could use it! Bizarre!! The air conditioning unit was sufficiently powerful to keep the room at a suitable temperature so that we could sleep comfortably at night. The bathroom was spacious with a large sink and separate shower with both a rainfall head and a hand held head. The multitude of towels were thick and absorbent reflecting once again the quality of the accommodation - they were changed frequently. There was plenty of hanging space for our clothes as well as drawers in the wardrobe. The suite was blissfully quiet - we heard no sound whatsoever from adjacent units. Breakfast was served in the restaurant. We were asked to pre-order our selection the previous evening. There were yoghurts, pastries and fresh fruit with a selection of cook-to-order options. We found it sufficiently varied to meet our needs. We also had a dinner on our first and final nights - an interesting menu. The food was very good, both in its execution and presentation. Naturally it was considerably more expensive than other restaurants we ate at on our trips to various parts of Martinique. The hotel has a very attractive pool just below the restaurant. It didn’t seem to get a lot of use whilst we stayed at the hotel. The grounds are a delight with so many native plants and a plethora of bird life. It seemed to be policy to allow the undergrowth to grow relatively freely - this was easy on the eye as the vegetation had a more natural rather than a manicured appearance. The paths are all boardwalks which are kept clear by the tireless housekeeping team. We found the staff at the hotel to be universally excellent in their roles - friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was impressively unobtrusive

We enjoyed our spacious apar**ent, with its private mini-pool for cooling off. There is also a swimming pool. The staff were top notch, very friendly and welcoming. The gardens, with their exotic trees and shrubs were amazing. There is a beautiful sandy beach 150 meters walk from there. The hotel has a private, gated parking lot. There are many inexpensive open-air restaurants nearby, but they were crowded at high season. Our hotel has a restaurant but it is very expensive. The delicious cooked breakfasts included in our hotel rate consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs cooked to order, breads, pastries, coffee/tea, etc. I would rate this hotel at 5 star.

Good place but poor, unprofessional service. Pity they are a long way from the luxury they promise even with the mini pools which are useless (opt rather for a hot tub if you want to pamper your clients) plus the main pool is nithing to write home about.

Was haben wir uns hier wohlfgefühlt! Man will gar nicht wieder abreisen. Nehmen Sie unbedingt eine Suite mit einem kleinen Plunge Pool. Herrlich erfrischend. Und unserer hatte einen bezaubernden Blick in einen Palmengarten. Wir konnten den Kolibris vom Pool aus bei der Nahrungsaufnahme zuschauen. Auch das Personal im French Coco - wie gecastet! Jung, charmant, gutaussehend...so wie man Personal für die Gastro und Hotellerie in Deutschland heute gar nicht mehr findet. Auch die Küche macht einen exzellenten Job. Das fängt beim Frühstück an - das Auge isst hier definitiv mit. Alles ist wunderbar arrangiert, ein Gedicht der superleckere Coco-Joghurt - den sollten Sie unbedingt ordern! Das Mehrgänge Dinner für 84 EUR pro Person haben wir uns nur einmal gegönnt, das hat dann doch unser Budget etwas zu sehr strapaziert. Auch weil der Wein erst bei stolzen 42 EUR pro Flasche startet, da kommt man im Ort besser zurecht. Sensationell ist auch das Housekeeping - sie putzen gründlich und haben ein perfektes Timing. Immer, wenn wir vom wunderbaren Frühstück kamen, war unsere Suite bereits fertig! Einfach rundum eine Wohlfühl-Oase - das French Coco, das sie unbedingt mit Mietwagen ansteuern sollten, es liegt vom Airport dann doch etwas entfernt.

Le directeur de l'hôtel qui semble plutôt très jeune n'est effectivement pas très sérieux ... En effet ce dernier fait défilé les filles dans sa chambre puisqu'il réside lui même à l'hôtel. Ne vaut mieux pas occuper la chambre à côté de la sienne puisque c' est assez bruyant et dérangeant pour les vacanciers qui souhaitent se reposer. C'est dommage car les lieux sont très jolis, mais le gérant n'est aucunement sérieux.
