THIS HOTEL WAS AWESOME. CLEAN, FRIENDLY AND GREAT LOCATION. THE BED WAS MOST COMFORTABLE, ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND COMFY. OUR KITTY WAS COMFORTABLE AS WELL, BREAKFAST WAS LIKE A USUAL FREE BREAKFAST, HOWEVER, SUNDAY MORNING WAS THE BEST. MISS KATHY MADE THE BEST SAUSAGE GRAVY WE'VE HAD. SHE WAS AMAZING. MISS KATHY SPOKE TO EVERY SINGLE GUEST WHO WALKED INTO THE AREA. SHE IS AMAZING AND DESERVES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR!!! WE MOST DEFINITELY. FIRST TIME STAYING IN THIS AREA AS WE LIVE 100 MILES NORTHWEST ON ANNA MARIA ISLAND, WE WILL BE BACK.
We had stayed at this hotel a few years ago when visiting relatives in Florida. We booked it for a couple of days as we are moving our dad to nursing care on Cape Coral. All we wanted was a good nights sleep in a clean room. This hotel has been updated so much since we were here before. My husband was laughing at how excited I was to see Dove Body Lotion in the bath room, just coming from the Bahamas, my skins was so dry…they have Kerigs for coffee and tea in the room, new carpeting, walls and ceilings newly painted and the beds are so comfy. Just what we need for this trip. There was some music playing next door, but we had a small balcony to sit on a have a cup of tea before bed and listen to the tunes, they stopped at 9, so not any issues with that at all. We have an early start tomorrow so glad they have breakfast in the lobby. I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers. We stayed in room 320 today 3/30 and will stay on 3/31 and head home on Saturday.
Very clean inside and out. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. There is a pancake machine! A cool workout room. Close to Fort Myers beach, sanibel, Captiva, lovers key, downtown, etc. Walmart is almost next door as well as a a Walgreens. The rooms are big. Comfy beds. Great organization set up for luggage, clothes, etc. Modern classic designed rooms. Quiet. The water pressure is a bit low but overall this is a great hotel for the price. Convenient, clean and comfortable.
Denia, Estrella and Rafeal make the best dinners for the Manager reception. They put so much love and attention into everything they do. We have a BLAST on Bingo night!!!!!!!! We love this team!!!!! Woop woop!! They really make you feel like you are at home!
MmbbaringerWe stayed at Coconut Pointe in September 2024 with our family of 5 (Kids 10, 8, and 6) and our extended family joined us as well for a total of 12 people. We had an unforgettable stay at Hyatt Coconut Point, and it couldn’t have been more perfect, even amidst Hurricane Helene! The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning pools and beach access, but it’s the staff that truly made our experience exceptional. A special mention to Christine and the entire breakfast team—they went above and beyond every morning, making sure we were well taken care of. They helped make my daughter’s 10th birthday extra special, and we couldn’t be more grateful. One of the things that keeps us coming back is the people and relationships we have built here. Despite the hurricane, the staff kept the energy high with games and crafts while the resort was temporarily closed. Incredibly, the pools were reopened within a day, and everything felt back to normal. The resilience and attentiveness of the team were impressive. We can’t wait to return for another stay at this wonderful resort. Thank you, Hyatt Coconut Point, for turning what could have been a stressful time into the best family vacation and birthday celebration ever!
ゲゲストThe hotel was clean, very nice rooms&nice pool area. The staff was very nice&friendly.the only thing that was disappointing was that most of our stay, which was 9 nights, the bar/restaurant was not open.that was the main reason I booked at this hotel, very disappointed it wasn’t open all the time
JJennifer PHelena Guest, the Hansens. The hotel was spotless before the storm, during the storm and after the storm. Certain staff went above and beyond. At check-in Joey was professional during immense outside pressure conditions. Housekeeping let me have my peace without pressure. One important team member with Housekeeping, Maria, took care of what I asked for under 2 seconds. Throughout our stay (we will need accomadations longer due to damage) as I looked around Maria was at different locaions cleaning away. Thank the Lord for you and yours... Jennifer Pomphrey.
By far the best hotel I’ve stayed in! Jeremy , Brittany and their team are among the friendliest most professional hotel staff we’ve met! They’re always smiling and available to help! The hotel is tidy and always kept clean, rooms are modern and come fully equipped with kitchen utensils if you need them I am just blown away by this staff and the experience they provided ! Will definitely return!!
ゲゲストWe love this location right in the middle of downtown Fort Myers, Florida. We've stayed here a few times, including before the recent renovation. There is a an interesting variety of rooms with different layouts which we enjoyed. This time we chose a King room with balcony and city view. The balcony is small but big enough for 2 people and while it does have an ok ”city view,” it also looks down upon another roof below with all the air conditioners (something we do not like when paying extra for a ”view”). However, you can also see the river along with a bit of Patio DeLeon, in the middle of downtown Fort Myers. At night, is where the view shines with all the colorful lighting and usual music can be heard from live musicians. This room is fairly large for a boutique hotel with a larger than usual TV. However, the TV and dresser on which it sits are oddly placed in a corner at an angle, and pretty far from the bed detracting from the size of the screen. Programming is not in HD and also not set to the correct proportions (everything was vertically compressed) and the remote does not allow adjustments for this. It has a nice kitchenette area with a mini fridge but no microwave which we thought it should have given the price for the room and how inexpensive small microwaves cost (It may have been an option but it should already be there). Shower is very nice but every 30 seconds the water pressure dropped, then climbed back up - no biggie, just odd. Toilet paper seemed cheap for this type of hotel but all other items seemed to match this type of hotel. You have to pay $3 per bottle for the 2 bottles that are already in the room. It's like ”nickel and diming” for something as inexpensive as bottled water - like having no microwave, it takes away from the experience given the price of the room. Some light fixtures were not fully seated into the ceiling and like most hotels, the air vent in the bathroom had visible dust (I realize most people don't even look at these things, but I tend to notice it). The bed, although newer, was very firm, and not what we typically find in an upscale hotel. The walls are ”thin” allowing sounds from outside and adjacent rooms to be heard which is just an observation, not necessarily a negative. Front desk personnel were friendly, professional and helpful. Parking options are basically valet or one of 2 nearby parking garages. One parking garage is literally across the street which worked great for us at a lot less than using valet - pros and cons to each. The ice machine on our floor was not working which requires you to acquire ice on another floor (we were on the 7th floor - the top floor). There is a nice little rooftop bar which has a similar view of the city as our room but a little higher. The bar area has decent seating with a good mix of small couches, chairs and high top tables. We did not eat or have room service during this stay but it's available. Overall, it's a very nice, small hotel in an ideal, convenient location and we will definitely go back.
ゲゲストWe stayed one night. When checking in, the front desk person could not find my rate and tried to tell me if was a higher rate. This should have been my first clue as to the type of hotel it is. Going into the room, it was medium clean, but we were only staying one night and less than 12 hours so we thought we could survive. It wasn't until the next morning that we saw there was no soap for a shower, which would have been ok as I had some with me, but the water pressure was terrible, and this was at 6 am. We passed on a shower, packed our bags and went to breakfast. I told the front desk clerk and she made a production about writing down the room number and they would check out the water pressure. I also mentioned that there was no soap. She said that we could have requested another room, but they did know there wasn't enough soap available because the order didn't come in. (hello, you're by a large city; aren't there any supercenters around?) Then we ate breakfast, not a very good one, and no juice available in the machine -- what's wrong with buying plastic containers and putting the juice in a small dispenser? When we sat down, the table next to us was laughing at what I'd said to the desk clerk. They had so little water pressure that it took 20 minutes to wash out the soap in their hair! As we talked to them, they had the same complaints we did. We finished packing the car and checked out. I asked for a receipt and we had a charge for a wall safe that we never used. I asked for it to be taken off and she did so reluctantly. I will check my credit card bill to make sure this happened. All in all, I would never stay there again. I called corporate and complained, and I just received an email (not very professionally written and full of misspellings and grammar mistakes) stating that I received a discounted rate and they were not going to discount the room any more. I think I've convinced my husband that the cheapest hotel is not necessarily the way to go. Remember, you get what you pay for.
