ホテル シメンホフ(Hotel Simmenhof)

We stayed at this wonderful hotel for two nights over new year 23/24 in room number 211. Michael and his team were utterly magnificent. All members of staff worked tirelessly during our stay to make all residents feel exceptionally special. Our room was of a good size with balcony to the side of the building with a Nespresso coffee maker, bathroom with bath and shower and plenty of storage space. Breakfast was a full selection of hot and cold food including cut fruit, bread, cheeses, ham, smoked salmon and juices. On New Year’s Eve the fabulous bar with piano had been decorated for the memorable six course gala dinner and party afterwards. The talented pianist then turned DJ and spun discs until the early hours. Prior to dinner all guests were treated to a no expense spared Moët and Chandon champagne reception. Underneath the hotel is a splendid wellness spa with sauna, steam room, tanning room, showers and a beautiful indoor outdoor swimming pool which leads out into the gardens where there is an integral whirlpool. Even in sub zero conditions swimming outside was warm and invigorating. On the morning of our departure, the young man who had looked after us the night before was again there to take care of us. This young man made it to bed at 4am and was up again at 6am to continue working. That is true dedication ! In conclusion, Michael, the general manager his wife and their team made our stay one of the most memorable for my wife and I and our Swiss friends of thirty five years. We will certainly be back to enjoy unparalleled hospitality again soon.

V good Hotel far away in the village but well connected to the nearby tourist spots where you can travel with Public transport for free with passes provided by them. Staff was excellent, well mannered and caring. Food was palatable with extreme care taken for our vegetarian needs. Rooms were neat and comfortable. Hotel facilities like the Sauna, indoor and outdoor pools were very well maintained. Missing was e-charging facility for our hybrid car Overall pleasant stay and highly recommended. Sehr zu empfehlendes Familien und Freizeithotel. Schöner Pool auch aussen, geheizt. Sauna und Dampfbad mit Infrarotkabine laden zum entspannen ein. Trampolin, Garten, gratis Parkplätze, Veloverleih. Kleiner Kinderspielplatz, geräumige und warm eingerichtete Hotelzimmer, lokales und reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Moderne Bar mit Billard und Kinderspielezimmer. Der Reiterhof nebenan hat unseren Kindern sehr gefallen. Es waren einige Kinder über Auffahrt im Hotel, aber es war sehr ruhig - die Familien durften in einer der Restaurantstuben zusammen sitzen, was den Kindern sehr gefallen hat und Gäste ohne Kinder wurden nicht „gestört“. Mit der Küche waren wir auch sehr zufrieden. Die Hotelleitung und Mitarbeiter sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit und haben das Hotel gut im Griff. Und das ganze zum vernünftigen Preis, das Hotel hat definitiv 4 Sterne verdient - unsere Kinder 2&4 durften sogar gratis im Zimmer übernachten. Unser neues Lieblingshotel.

Ein sehr gemütliches familiäres Hotel mit einem kompetentem, erfahrenem und sehr gastorientiertem Team, welches für eine rundum Wohlfühla**osphäre sorgt. Schon bei dem freundlichen Empfang fühlt man sich willkommen und erhält alle wichtigen Informationen rund um den Aufenthalt inklusive den Freizeitangeboten vor Ort. Die Bar mit dem Blick in die angrenzende Reithalle lädt zum Verweilen ein und ist nicht das einzige Highlight im Hotel Simmenhof. Der Morgen beginnt mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstücksbuffet und lässt auch dank dem sehr freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal, welches immer ein offenes Ohr für seine Gäste hat, keine Wünsche offen. Die Küche verwendet frische und regionale Produkte. Halbpension vorab zu buchen ist empfehlenswert. Der Wellnessbereich bietet alles was man braucht, um die Auszeit zu geniessen. Die Zimmer sind sauber, grosszügig geschnitten und je nach Kategorie mit Balkon und einer schönen Aussicht. Die Badezimmer sind sehr geräumig. Auf dem Zimmer hat es eine Nespresso-Kaffeemaschine mit ausreichend Kaffeekapseln und Tassen. Einen Aufenthalt im Hotel Simmenhof kann ich nur empfehlen, egal ob als Einzelperson oder mit der Familie. Preis-Leistung stimmt. Ich komme gerne wieder und freue mich auf die Zeit mit Michael, Iris und Fabienne.
