Beautiful location, helpful staff and owner available when needed, food delicious, rooms and bed very comfortable and so quiet which is unusual. It was so relaxing and just what I needed in a friendly atmosphere - when travelling alone this is so helpful to make you feel like you blend in.

Wonderful peaceful location, friendly and attentive staff. This place is a bit of a gem if you’re after something traditional. The rooms and all the communal areas are very comfortable. Good bar meals and breakfast - will try the restaurant next time!

This was for a very special family get-togeter occasion for a 'Wake' to commorate ny late son's passing and the hotel and staff went to great lengths to make it a very special memorable event for the family's stay over that week-end with particular regard to the catering and the general freindlyness. We could not have asked for more. Thank You a hundred times !

We recently returned from this most wonderful seaview hotel yet again, buried in the Dorset countryside this is a must for those who want to relax in the peace and quiet of this tranquil location .We were looked after by Abbie and her young team making our stay as usual a special one. Eating at the Eypes Mouth is a must , the food is of a great standard and doesn't disappoint (well done chefs 👍) We stayed here for Christmas 23 (see previous review) and have just booked for Xmas 24 ....can't wait !!!! To finish off my wife and i would just like to say thanks to all those at the Eypes Mouth Hotel......Thank you!!!!

We stopped here for a 2 night break on route to Cornwall. We had booked a superior sea view room, which we were a bit disappointed in on arrival..the room smelt a bit musty and was quite small..it also didnt look like the room pictures online and certainly not a refurbished one. I may not have read the small print but i was expecting a bath as well. Had it been for more than 2 nights i would have asked to move. Now for the plus points, all the staff were brilliant, very friendly and helpful. The food was very good as well and the view from the terrace was beautiful.

I booked Eype's Mouth Country Hotel for a buffet lunch for 34 for family and friends to celebrate the spreading of my wife's ashes at Eype's Bay. It could not have been a better choice and I received many compliments from my guests for the selection of the hotel. All arrangements were managed very well, including food, drinks, table settings, music, bar etc. The service was excellent, the dining room was light and cheerful with access to a large patio. The hotel is only a short walk from the beach at Eype's Bay and affords lovely views. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Had fun reading the previous reviews before writing this. Decor wise it is very much going back to a different age (I thought I had gone to the Hotel Margareta in Balatonfured in Hungary with walls in the same dark greens and browns, as if I had been transported to 1988); although dated it didn't look tired and it was very clean. we had room 15 which was reasonably spacious and airy, with a large bathroom, old fashioned but at last you could swing a cat (unlike modern hotel bathrooms). Cooked breakfast was excellent, shame they ran out of Godiva yoghurt on Day 2. The staff was excellent and friendly. We asked for packed lunches and although we forgot to place our order for Day 2 the receptionist (Abbie) took the initiative and ordered them for us anyway. 2nd night we had what seemed like a newbie at the bar, it was good to see that she was being supported by other colleagues as we had other guests who had obviously drunk one glass too much and making a nuisance of themselves (their great dane was better behaved!). Will happily go back

Decor was a bit dated and reception was a bit pushy trying to get us to decide what we wanted for our evening meal as soon as we arrived as we were tired after long drive we just wanted to relax! After that we couldn’t fault the staff or service! The weather was amazing and the view was spectacular! The road to the hotel is an experience in itself it’s literally one car wide with few passing places makes things interesting to say the least

Excellent service, delicious food - a lovely little hotel hidden away in a quiet valley. A sea view room- thank you for the welcome cake selection.
