Apartment was very nice, it could have been cleaner though, room had a damp smell the whole time we were there which wasn’t nice, even keeping windows open didn’t help, facilities were good, had everything I needed. Definitely not luxury but nice.

Well priced. Was very clean. It is in the perfect place to visit Liverpool. So close to everything (it is opposite San Carlo ) Easy check in. All information is sent to you via email. Parking a little all away but still very near and so cheap with the room. Lovely clean kitchen.

Having stayed at 42 Castle Street exactly two years ago and thoroughly enjoying our stay, we decided to repeat the experience this year but were left disappointed. Obviously fixtures & fittings deteriorate over time, however, that is not to say that they cannot be maintained. There were various issues with the flat ranging from a broken downlight (with exposed wiring) various broken lightbulbs, tatty stains on carpet, very bad damp in one of the bedrooms and filthy windows at the front & back of the property to name but a few. On one evening the fire alarm activated in one of the flats and it took over twenty minutes for a clearly inebriated 'manager' to attend before silencing the alarm without even attending the source of fire indicated on the panel. It isn't all doom & gloom however. 42 Castle Street has a fantastic situation being very closely located to all you could need for your break. It's just such a shame that it lacks planned maintenance to keep it in the order we found it two years previous.

I stayed in 2 different apartments. 110 on the 3rd floor was huge but it faced onto the street and was so noisy. I moved to an apartment where the bedroom was away from the street - 109 which was half the size but much quieter. Both apartments were clean and warm but both needed a bit more attention paying to the cleaning of the bathrooms - an old toothbrush and some Cif around the bottom of the shower and in the corners of the tiles would have done the trick. The worst thing were the loo brushes in both apartments which were beyond disgusting. overall the value for money was amazing

Noise is unbearable - I’m on the 3rd floor it’s 9 pm on a Wednesday and there is an intolerable beat of club music coming from somewhere across the road. The apartment next door has left the bathroom fan/light on. There are 3 front doors in a tiny vestibule with doors constantly slamming. I am expecting a sleepless night. The apartment is fabulous - well equipped, warm and spotless but money needs to be invested in better door closures, triple glazing and soundproofing.

Great location, great condition. Very strange that there wasn't a bedside light. If your lookin for a very nice and very clean apartment, close to Moorfields Station, St James Station, Pier Head and Mathew Street then book this Apartment. If you want a view from the windows then don't book.

Very good location in Liverpool City Centre, close to all shops and bars and a 10min walk from Lime St Station. If you are heading to Anfield you are a 10min Uber ride away. Contactless check in is seamless, very clear instructions sent before arrival. Property always in communication. Room was clean, spacious and quite relaxing with a kitchen on hand with all your basic appliances. You do need to stock up at the Supermarket downstairs as the room doesn’t come stocked with any basic items like tea, coffee. The location of the property means at nights it can get quite noisy, Saturday night especially there was a lot of bottles being disposed of by the bar next door which was very loud, but the property do warn you about that, not a deal breaker though. The in room safe was locked and wasn’t able to use it, but again nothing to deter you from the property. Overall we had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Great place to stay, very spacious and had everything we needed. Location is perfect as well.

We had flat 102. Pros: Excellent central location close to all the attractions with a handy small Sainsbury's right next door. Spacious, airy living room with comfortable settees and large television. Good wifi. Very comfortable beds. Clean, modern and well looked after. Bedrooms are quiet as they face away from the main thoroughfare of Castle Street so able to get a good night's sleep. Cons: There was a smell of damp which I found particularly noticeable in the ensuite bedroom although 2 of our party of 3 said they didn't notice it.
