The room we had was amazing. Exceptionally clean and well maintained.. Grounds were spectacular with rhododendrons in full bloom - beautiful Food was fresh and delicious ( breakfast, dinner & cream tea) As for the staff- well they couldn’t do enough for you. Vicky ( on reception) was very patient with us when we were trying to sort out further dates to go. Going through different dates with us and even managed to get the suites we wanted. A fantastic experience all round

Purchased a gift voucher for a friend to enjoy afternoon tea for two. Did not enjoy at all! Lovely place, pleasant staff but food was poor. No garnish or anything to make presentation even inviting. Bland sandwiches in supermarket bread, half a sausage roll ( actually the tastiest thing on the tea) and a selection of the stodgiest most bland desserts. And also the most awful fruit scone , no butter and cheap preserve. Will not be recommending.

The staff are the friendliest we have ever encountered and are always pleasant and helpful. The food is brilliant and the hotel is in a beautiful quiet location, with easy access to several seaside resorts such as Scarborough, Whitby, Runswick Bay and Saltburn. We also enjoy visiting Pickering, Guisborough and Rosedale Abbey from here.

We needed some couple time and I had found a great deal to come to Grinkle Park which included cream tea, dinner and breakfast, along with the opportunity to book any room in the hotel. I booked a suite and we were not disappointed! The room was beautiful with views out over the gardens, the bed was very comfy, the food was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. I had never heard of Grinkle Park before but I will be recommending it. Thanks for a lovely stay ❤️

Lovely small country house hotel. Very quiet location with great gardens. Staff are very friendly, food is good and rooms are comfortable with sone freebies like shortbread and prosecco. We had a deluxe room and I think the extra space is worth the extra £20.

We returned to Grinkle Park this week after a previously lovely stay in December. Staff are lovely, receptionist Ollie and breakfast staff Michelle along with superb chef and bar staff. The downside was the breakfast waiter who was rude and incompetent. He lets the rest of the staff down. However, despite him, we had a lovely stay.

Great location, staff really friendly and efficient. Hotel has a lovely relaxed ambience and the rooms are general’s well equipped. The evening menu although not excessive was varied and reflected local produce all cooked beautifully. Plenty of car parking space and grounds to walk around

We spent 2 nights at this stunning hotel which is set in a beautiful estate. Our room was overlooking the carpark, it was so peaceful. The room itself was in keeping with the grandness of the hotel, a lovely large room with bath/shower with complimentary bath robes and slippers. There was also tea/coffee making facilities with a plentiful supply of tea/coffee. We only ate breakfast which consisted of a range of pastries, cereal, fruit and yoghurt. There was also a cooked menu which had a superb selection. The staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for you. If you are looking to tour the areas of Whitby, Saltburn and Scarborough this is an ideal central location to stay. If you book direct the hotel always have special deals throughout the year.

The building was impressive, the grounds were unbelievable, the food first class and the staff could not have been friendlier. Grinkle Park is now on our list of favourite hotels. It is an ideal centre for exploring the North York Moors and the Yorkshire coast.
