パラドール デ ロルカ(Parador de Lorca)

Strange hotel really! On arrival, it's one of the most beautiful buildings and approach we've seen in a long time. The hotel has been built next to the castle and is totally in keeping with its surroundings. On arrival, the reception area is stunning and the staff helpful and friendly. However, it went rapidly downhill on opening our room door. The first thing we noticed was the curtain hanging off its rail! It's a big room with very little furniture and what there was, was a bit tatty. We were disappointed so headed back to reception to change rooms. Pretty much the same but the curtains were ok. This time the room smelt of drains! Having never stayed in a parador before, we were expecting a bit of luxury, maybe our mistake. The room was pretty basic with standard hard beds, no cushions on the sofa, no little extras. The building deserves better! Room was very clean and large but just lacking any wow factor or a hint of luxury. For an overnight stay, it's a great location and clean, just don't expect a beautiful room in keeping with the building. Fantastic views day and night

酒店孤獨的站在洛爾卡最高處，視野不錯，適合自駕遊。酒店人員很熱情，點個贊👍🏻，早餐好吃。房間配置稍差，沒有洗漱用品，沒有拖鞋，連浴袍也沒有，記得自己帶上。停車場修的很漂亮，免費的，總的來説，在洛爾卡這是首選

Magnífico parador, muy bien situado, personal muy atento, habitaciones muy limpias y cómodas, muy recomendable, un parador de diez.

Todo perfecto, limpisimo, personal muy agradable, restaurante con una carta poco extensa pero de muy buena calidad al menos lo que comimos, habitaciones amplias.. Lo único un poco lioso llegar y demás pero por la ubicación dudo se pueda hacer otra cosa.. Nos cogimos entradas para el castillo así que finde ideal.. Ah y el spa, en perfecto estado y todo funcionando que no en todos los que he ido ha sido así.. Conclusión genial todo!!

Great staff with brilliant service at reception and in the restaurant/cafe. Shower was dated and tray did not drain. Otherwise a fantastic venue and stay with spectacular views. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately this could have been a very good stay but the customer service reply to a disappointing breakfast lets it down. The room was nice but some things are aging e.g. the handle in the shower is super wobbly. At breakfast, which isn't cheap at nineteen per head, I asked for just a plate of scrambled eggs (the self-serve buffet is only cold or ambient food), and after 27 minutes I ask if the eggs on the trolley of food coming out is mine and was told it was for another table - the server pointing at the table of 10 which arrived after I had asked for the eggs. It should not take so long for eggs to come. I sent an email to the hotel to explain my experience and was told: "We are so sorry to hear about your experience at breakfast. We will forward your complaint to the restaurant team. We hope to receive you on another occasion." ... I thought I would at least be offered a discounted breakfast on my next stay but instead I will not be visiting again.

This hotel is a real treat, in an amazing location in the grounds of Lorca Castle. Access is gained via a steep, twisty road that rewards you with stunning views across the Murcian countryside. It is a fair distance to the pleasant town centre so it seemed that most of the guests ate in the restaurant where the food was delicious and served by friendly, professional staff. A visit to the castle is a must, just make sure you pack very sensible footwear as there is a lot of climbing to do.

Fantastic nice and friendly service from all staff, beautifully located and luxurius hotel. Restaurant was excellent and overall great value for money in all aspects. We will visit again!
