Walking distance to Luquillo beach and local food court. East Luquillo Beach is clean and nice but gated so fee to enter and closes before sunset. We went to south side of beach with food courts, beach and area were filthy. After sitting on beach towels watching the surf 10min sand fleas attacked, no bueno! Also most bar and grill places not friendly to Caucasians and some tried scamming us. You need to speak Spanish to communicate, did not feel safe anywhere on the northeast region of the island especially in the San Juan area. Culture overall was not friendly to English speaking visitors and sometimes rude. We wanted to visit here to spend money helping locals rebuild from the hurricanes but will never return. Hotels are insanely expensive with all the junk fees. Our room was $350/night and then they added $20/nt to park in the parking lot! I have stayed at hotel's half as much and twice as good.

This new property was immaculate and safe. The pool area is inviting and refreshing. Bar food is available as are drinks. The breakfast was abundant and would satisfy anyone. The beds are comfortable, as is the bedding. If you are staying more than a couple of days, a car is needed to explore the surrounding area. The beach is a short walk away, about 1/3 mile.

Clean place. Very friendly. Literally next door to a decent ******. You can drive to the beach in 1 minute. Bars in 2 minutes. Great place away from San Juan when the city is too much. What's not to like?

Breakfast was ok not Marriott level and under staffed , bar was under staffed , pool area had 4 umbrellas for 70 chairs , rails to step into the pool where only after the first step in the water “unsafe”.

$20/day parking charge requires getting ticket stamped EVERY time you leave lot. Facility is across the highway from beach (ad makes it appear to be ON beach). Breakfast buffet is fine but lunch/dinner options limited to sandwiches.

Great property within walking distance of Luquillo Beach and Kiosks and just a few minutes drive from El Yunque. Super nice rooms. Awesome breakfast. Staff was great.
Paying the resort fee AND a parking fee was a bit of a bummer and you have to remember to validate your parking pass any time you leave but all in all it was worth it.

We had a wonderful stay. The pool area overlooks the mountains. From the bedroom in 4th floor you get a peek to the ocean. The bedrooms are spacious, clean and really pretty.
We walked to the Luquillo Kiosks and to the Balneario. At night is dark for this walk so car is better.
